  • Army of Darkness: Evil Dead 3 Alternative Movie Poster

Army of Darkness: Evil Dead 3

    £425.00

“Trapped in time. Surrounded by evil. Low on gas”

Sam Raimi’s “Army of Darkness: Evil Dead 3” is not as rooted in the horror genre as its predecessors – although it has its horrific elements, it seems to be first and foremost a dark fantasy comedy – with lots of one-liners and slapstick and gore. It’s kind of a delirious combination of horror, comedy, fantasy, action, and adventure, but it’s definitely the horror element that comes across in this 2017 alternative movie poster from Graham Humphreys. The medieval dead and undead never looked scarier and are out in full force as the hero from the previous two instalments – Ash (Bruce Campbell) cuts a worried looking figure. Originally rolled (as issued) the example offered here is truly exceptional; This limited edition it has been signed by Humphreys and hand-numbered #48/100 and displays and presents to excellent effect with amazing imagery and deep, rich colours. The horror ‘fan-boy’ love for Sam Raimi & Bruce Campbell is well deserved with related memorabilia much sought after, making this a hugely collectable piece.

Trivia: Released in Japan as “Captain Supermarket”.

“When some rare Chicago blood starts spilling in San Francisco, they give BULLITT the mop. They weren’t exactly doing him a favour. But they’ve done a great big one for you.”

The King of COOL just got a lot cooler as presented here by Graham Humphreys on this beautiful limited edition Artist Proof alternative movie poster from 2018, undoubtedly one of the best Steve McQueen images. His performance as tough cop Frank Bullitt cemented his iconic movie star status. This excellent example displays and presents to excellent effect with only the very minimum of handling wear, the colours are strong and the graphics and design exceptional. I personally don’t think there is one ‘bad’ poster from the artist and although he is most famous for his horror offerings this break from the norm piece is quite exceptional. Signed by Humphreys in pencil he has also hand-numbered this limited edition Artist Proof of only 10 produced. This beautiful alternative movie poster print represents a fine item of highly desirable movie memorabilia for a true screen and cultural legend.

Trivia: According to Peter Yates, Steve McQueen made a point to keep his head near the open car window during the famous chase scene so that audiences would be reassured that it was he, not a stunt man, who was driving,

  • Evil Dead II Movie Poster

    Evil Dead II

    £195.00

“Kiss Your Nerves Good-Bye…The Sequel To The Ultimate Experience In Grueling Terror !”

A stunning and much sought after alternative movie poster by Elvisisdead for Sam Raimi’s Evil Dead sequel…“Evil Dead II” (Dead By Dawn). The sequel, made six years later and technically a retcon sequel, was allotted a significantly larger budget than the first and is more of a black comedy than the original. Lead actor Bruce Campbell is put through a continually escalating series of horrific encounters that allow him to show the full extent of his talent for slapstick comedy and it is a demonically possessed Campbell – ‘Evil Ash’, who is featured on this 2015 limited edition variant style art print, hand-numbered #99/100. A great looking piece of horror art that represents a fine example of not only horror film movie memorabilia, but also when the subject matter is so powerful just how effective an alternative movie poster can be.

Trivia: A glove belonging to the A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984) Freddy Krueger character can be seen hanging above the door of the tool shed when Ash carves his girlfriends head with a chainsaw and when he’s looking for the pages in the later cellar scenes. This was in response to the use of The Evil Dead (1981) on a television screen in A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984).

  • Texas Chainsaw Massacre Alternative Movie Poster

    Texas Chainsaw Massacre

    £295.00

“WHO WILL SURVIVE AND WHAT WILL BE LEFT OF THEM ?”

Described by The News of the World as the ‘sickest carnival of slaughter ever seen’...“The Texas Chainsaw Massacre” has become one of the most debated films of all time bringing (at the time) nauseating, forceful horror to the screen with a focussed realism that was new to mainstream cinema. Arguments raged as most councils and cinemas across the country banned it’s release (The full fascinating story of the censorship battle is well worth checking out on the official BBFC website.) with only a handful of cinemas eventually bowing to public demand and showing the Film. Reimagined on an incredible scale and one of the most licensed titles for an alternative movie poster – it takes something special to stand out from the crowd and Graham Humphreys’ 2023 release certainly does that; horror art at its finest. Printed for Texas Frightmare Weekend and only available to purchase from the Mondo booth, this signed and hand-numbered (AP 28/30) artist proof print is an outstanding tribute to Tobe Hooper’s ground breaking movie, introducing one of the horror genre’s most iconic characters and a very rare and collectable alternative movie poster for perhaps the most influential cult horror film of the modern era…“There are moments when we cannot believe that what is happening is really true. Pinch yourself and you may find out that it is.”
