A fantastic looking and incredibly rare piece of British cinematic history that perfectly embodied the swinging sixties…a 1968 UK quad film poster for Jack Cardiff’s cult psychedelic ‘road’ movie “Girl on a Motorcycle”. This is an exceptional Style A example designed by John Armstrong where the content and layout is perfectly suited by the landscape format of a UK quad. With this design more commonly found with an ABC snipe running across the top image area this full bleed, all artwork style is incredibly rare and the first time we have ever offered one for sale. Marianne Faithfull really looks the part, clad in leather catsuit astride her Harley Davidson zipping through the forests of France. As you would expect from such a high grade example, colours are deep and unfaded complemented by unforgettable and sexy imagery of Faithfull. One for the true Bond collectors and those who appreciate movie posters as an art form. This is one of the most visually stunning poster designs created for a Bond movie, for the French release of “From Russia With Love” (Bons Baisers de Russie) by artist Boris Grinsson. This same imagery was chosen for the front cover of the book ‘The Official 007 Collection James Bond Movie Posters’, which features an exclusive selection of 007 film posters from the collection of Eon Productions. Although a re-release the only difference in artwork to the original 1964 release is additional printer information along the bottom right edge and it is also worth noting that France was the only major country to screen “From Russia With Love” in the 1980s, with no releases in the United States or Britain. In Sean Connery’s second outing as Bond, he willingly falls into an assassination plot involving a naive Russian beauty in order to retrieve a Soviet encryption device that was stolen by SPECTRE. “From Russia With Love” remains on of the very best of the James Bond franchise. This is quintessential James Bond with Grinsson paying homage to Eric Pulford’s now famous Connery, Bond pose – used on every marketing campaign since. Connery (as Bond) is surrounded by key characters from the movie including a beautiful illustration of actress Daniela Bianchi (Tatiana Romanova) with Robert Shaw (Red Grant) as the SPECTRE hardman lurking in the background – the exotic city of Istanbul acts as the perfect backdrop. This early re-release from the 1980s is presented conservation linen backed and appears rolled, with minimal restoration it presents to excellent effect and looks magnificent, with vibrant bright unfaded colours. It doesn’t get much better than this, an eye-catching piece of James Bond memorabilia.
Trivia: Although he had his reservations about the choice of Sir Sean Connery for the part of James Bond, after seeing him in this movie, Ian Fleming was completely won over by the actor. In fact, as a result, Fleming added a Scottish ancestry to Bond’s character in later novels.

“She’s evil… and not just high school evil”…Designed by The Refinery Megan Fox (in Sharon Stone Basic Instinct pose) has never looked sexierthan on this original 2009 small French Petite Affiche film poster for Megan Fox’s comedy horror film “Jennifer’s Body”. “The morning after was just the beginning…”
A very scarce movie poster…30th Anniversary BFI re-release British UK quad for Mathieu Kassovitz’ French black & white urban drama “La Haine” (The Hate). This is an Original UK Quad Poster printed in 2025 to mark the 30th anniversary re-release of the film. The story revolves around riots on the streets of Paris which explode after a young man is tortured by police, making the film as relevant now as it was 30 years ago. The poster features the films central characters Vinz (Vincent Cassel), Said (Saïd Taghmaoui) and Hubert (Hubert Koundé). Kassovitz’ film won multiple awards on its release including Best Director at Cannes and Best Film at the ‘Cesars’ (the French Oscars). Filmed in gritty black & white and shown in a very limited number of BFI ‘art-house’ cinemas with a low key advertising campaign the UK film poster that accompanied the release is truly scarce. This originally rolled (as issued) example is in excellent unrestored condition that presents & displays superbly…This is a fine piece of rare and highly collectible original film movie memorabilia.
Trivia: The film was originally filmed in color but changed to b/w in post-production by Kassovitz himself. A color re-release was planned in case the original release flopped.

With artwork by Howard Terpning, this original 1962 French ‘Moyen‘ Affiche film poster for “Lawrence of Arabia” (Lawrence d’Arabie) is a truly stunning piece featuring deep, rich colours and beautiful painted artwork of a sabre wielding O’Toole (astride a camel) leading his Arab army into battle. Eye-catching and memorable as O’Toole’s presence dominates (rightly so) the poster. A real find in such high grade condition, benefitting from being conservation linen backed with only light restoration to the original foldlines. A magnificent example that displays and presents to excellent effect and represents a scarce & highly collectable item of authentic movie memorabilia that is without argument one of the greatest movies ever made.
Trivia: The scene where T.E. Lawrence is given his first Arab clothes wasn’t working as written, so Sir David Lean took Peter O’Toole aside and said, “There’s something missing, Peter. What do you think a young man would do alone in the desert if he’d just been given these beautiful robes?” He pointed out to the desert and O’Toole’s eyes followed. “There’s your theatre, Peter. Do what you like.” So, O’Toole improvised Lawrence looking at his reflection in his knife.

The rarest of the rare, (as predominantly printed in English) with a very low print run, that’s what this original 1971 Japan B2 film poster for “Le Mans” is. Quite frankly one of the finest Steve McQueen motor-racing images ever produced. Originally rolled this example presents near perfectly; Genuinely very very scarce and becoming hard to find due to the Film’s very limited release in it’s day. Now an iconic and much admired motor racing movie showing just why Steve McQueen was the true King of Cool ! Trivia: Steve McQueen‘s blood type (Group O, Reh D neg) is shown on the back of his helmet. This was common at the time and drivers would show blood types either on the helmets or clothing.

Trivia: The crashing Porsche 917 and Ferrari 512 were actually outdated Lola T70’s ‘made up’ to look like a 917 and a 512, since it was out of the question to sacrifice one of these priceless cars. The fake Ferrari was remote-controlled.

Luc Besson’s 1994 dark action thriller “Leon: The Professional” remains one his most celebrated movies. Showing in only a handful of ‘art-house’ cinemas the advertising campaign was very low key and the distinctive British campaign is unquestionably the best looking of any marketing campaign. The stylish red and black design is used here on the fully illustrated synopsis tri-fold which is accompanied by four original black and white promotional stills; two feature Jean Reno as the master assassin Leon, one shows his young apprentice Mathilda (Natalie Portman) with the remaining still a rare candid shot of Luc Besson. Any marketing material that accompanied the limited cinema release is truly scarce. Originally flat and unfolded (as issued) it all presents in original unrestored condition with only minor handling wear. Hugely collectable & desirable original film memorabilia from a truly stylish cult classic movie of the 90’s.
TRIVIA: Luc Besson got the idea of doing this movie while working on his previous movie, Nikita(1990). In that film’s third act, Victor the Cleaner appears to deal with the aftermath of Nikita’s botched mission. Realizing the potential of the character was underused in that movie, Besson decided to create a story that focused on the activities of such a character. Both Victor and Leon appear dressed in a long wool coat, sunglasses and a knit cap. Both are played by Jean Reno. The film’s working title was “The Cleaner”.

Gorgeous poster created in promotion of 1963’s “Marilyn”, the documentary tribute using archival footage of Marilyn Monroe’s films, narrated by Rock Hudson, celebrating her screen legacy shortly after her death. Featuring stunning artwork and an amazing colour palette, from Boris Grinsson of Monroe in “Gentlemen Prefer Blondes”, this French “Grande” poster is from the 1975 re-release of the film in France. Stunning in person, and impressive not just because of Grinsson’s imagery and use of colour, but also due to the large format, it exudes glamour and old Hollywood. Originally folded (as issued) this example presents and displays to excellent effect and represents a beautiful item of original cinematic movie memorabilia.
Trivia: The film ends with and alternative version of “Diamonds Are a Girl’s Best Friend” filmed in CinemaScope.
