Produced in 1991 for the 25th Anniversary of the TV series “Star Trek”, acclaimed artist Drew Struzan has produced one of the best images of William Shatner as the iconic character – Captain James T. Kirk. This example has been autographed by the actor William Shatner and annotated with his character name ‘James T. Kirk’. The autograph was obtained in 2023 (August 12th) at the Steel City Con, Monroeville, Pennsylvania and is accompanied by an official Certificate of Authenticity from the event. The poster alone is impressive and when coupled with the signature it represents an incredible and a very collectable item of Star Trek memorabilia movie from Gene Roddenberry’s iconic and hugely influential production.
Trivia: ‘Star Trek’ is universally acknowledged as the most successful franchise in television history, and one of the most successful in all of Hollywood history. As of 2023, Star Trek (1966) has been followed by 13 theatrically-released motion pictures; 11 TV, cable & streaming sequels & spin-offs; 4 theme park attractions & exhibits; more than 70 board, pinball, card & other games; and literally 100s of novelizations, adaptations, reference & other books. A global phenomenon when originally released in 1977 producing (at the time) a multitude of related merchandise including some exceptional posters one of which was a design by revered fantasy artists Drew Struzan & Charlie White. Struzan is now regarded as THE ‘Star Wars’ movie poster artist with this collaboration with White being his first recognised work for the franchise. Very much a favourite among Star Wars collectors the ‘Circus Style D’ artwork was re-used as a US one sheet in 1992 for the 15th Anniversary re-release when printed and distributed by Kilian Enterprises. The print quality and colour saturation is incredible with Kilian considered the best of the best in respect of the limited edition Anniversary posters produced. Presented here in original unrestored condition this excellent rolled (as issued) example has light handling wear, deep unfaded vibrant colours and some of the finest “Star Wars” artwork EVER !…“Hokey religions and ancient weapons are no match for a good blaster at your side, kid”

For the 40th Anniversary 2023 re-release of the George Lucas sci fi classic sequel “Star Wars: Return of the Jedi” Lucasfilm issued this amazing British one-sheet featuring the artwork of Matt Ferguson, the hugely successful artist responsible for some of the most memorable recent Marvel cinematic releases and the award winning, fan favourite 40th Anniversary design for ‘Empire Strikes Back’. This ‘updated’ style features some of the best imagery from this instalment from the original trilogy with Luke Skywalker (now a Jedi Knight) and like many of the 1980 posters a dominant Darth Vader and the iconic scout walkers. Presented here in original unrestored condition this beautiful 2023 rolled (as issued) example has deep unfaded vibrant colour tones and displays to excellent effect with the minimal of handling wear. With an extremely limited cinematic release in both the UK & USA this is a truly scarce poster and highly sought after. As this is the British release it carries the tagline ‘Returns to Cinemas April 28’.Already firmly established as a fans favourite this impressive item represents a fine addition for any collector of original movie posters or Star Wars fan memorabilia.
Trivia: A reason for filming under the guise of non-descript horror movie title, “Blue Harvest” was partly to put off any snoopers, and also because the production found out that if they mentioned they were working on the next Star Wars movie, suppliers would automatically ramp up their prices, assuming that money was no object for Lucasfilm.

Printed by Gore Graphics on heavy stock art paper and distributed by Kilian Enterprises, the print quality and colour saturation is incredible. Kilian considered the best of the best in respect of the limited edition Anniversary posters produced. Presented here in original unrestored condition this excellent rolled (as issued) example has some of the finest ‘Star Wars’ artwork EVER ! Original 1985 UK Quad cinema poster for Richard Donner’s much-loved adventure “The Goonies”. Drew Struzan’s superb illustrated design sends the young heroes tumbling into danger as they cling to a rocky cavern above One-Eyed Willy’s treasure map. Its warm, dramatic colours and memorable “Join the adventure” tagline perfectly capture the film’s irresistible blend of excitement, humour and childhood escapism.

Trivia: The Goonies Oath (which was edited out and never used) goes as follows: “I will never betray my goon dock friends / We will stick together until the whole world ends / Through heaven and hell, and nuclear war / Good pals like us, will stick like tar / In the city, or the country, or the forest, or the boonies / I am proudly declared a fellow Goonie.”

A magnificent example for one of the best feelgood films ever made…Richard Donner’s “The Goonies”. Add to the mix Steven Spielberg & Chris Columbus it was a guaranteed box office hit, but just to make sure they commissioned movie poster maestro Noriyoshi Ohrai to create an alternative style poster for the Japanese marketing campaign that complemented and could be displayed next to Drew Struzan’s familiar ‘hanging’ design . Ohrai in turn produced some of the best work of his career as featured here on this original 1985 Style A Japanese B2 film poster. The portrait format is perfectly suited to his design which is fondly referred to as the ‘One-Eyed Willie’ style. Originally rolled (as issued) this unrestored example looks incredible with amazing vibrant colour tones. A fantastic and eye-catching item for a hugely loved and popular movie that represents scarce original movie memorabilia for a film poster that has become one of the most desirable titles of the 1980’s…“Goonies never say die !”
Trivia: One Eyed Willie’s ship, The Inferno, was 105 feet long and took 2-1/2 months to construct. It was modeled after Errol Flynn‘s ship in The Sea Hawk (1940). The sails required more than 7,000 square feet of material, the largest measured 30ft by 60ft. Some of the ship’s rigging was recycled for the Pirates of the Caribbean ship at Disneyland, which was being renovated at the time.

He in turn produced some of the best work of his career as featured here on this Japanese B2 movie poster. The portrait format is perfectly suited to his design which is fondly referred to as the ‘hanging’ style as the seven Goonies are left hanging from a stalactite and it’s only on this design the characters have their own photographs displayed along the bottom edge. While this poster was available to the public, it was sold only at Japanese cinemas during the first release of the film and NOT by any third party sellers or after the end of the first release period. It is considered to be much rarer than the Japanese theatrical posters from this same title and has a tiny silver Stik metallic square licensing snipe attached to the bottom corner. Originally rolled (as issued) this unrestored example looks incredible and presents and displays superbly. An amazing item for a hugely loved and popular movie and a fantastic piece of scarce original movie memorabilia for a film poster that has become one of the most desirable titles of the 1980’s…“Goonies never say die !”
