    There is no doubting the influence and impact of Quentin Tarantino’s 1994 masterpiece “Pulp Fiction” and like so many of the Tarantino films the paper from each has become hugely collectable, but it is the posters from “Pulp Fiction” that are easily the most popular and valuable. The Japanese B2 film poster offered here is no exception. This Style B “character” version features a design unique to Japan featuring the Director and Writer, Quentin Tarantino and the actors – Bruce Willis,  John Travolta and Uma Thurman. It is the only poster to feature head shot photographs of the main players. Unique Japanese artwork and very cool looking this is a fantastic original poster for Quentin Tarantino’s most celebrated film to date. Originally rolled (as issued) this totally unrestored example presents and displays to excellent effect and represents a fantastic piece of movie memorabilia from a truly iconic movie…“I do believe Marsellus Wallace, my husband, your boss, told you to take ME out and do WHATEVER I WANTED. Now I wanna dance, I wanna win. I want that trophy, so dance good.”

    Trivia: The movie’s line, “You know what they call a Quarter Pounder with Cheese in Paris? They call it a Royale with cheese.” was voted as the #81 of “The 100 Greatest Movie Lines” by Premiere magazine in 2007.

So successful in fact that for the ‘final’ episode on January 15th 2017 the BBC decided to simultaneously broadcast it in cinemas as well as standard TV screens. Highlighting the two stars (Benedict Cumberbatch & Martin Freeman) it really is stunning, dark and mysterious with a design perfectly suited to the landscape format of the UK quad film poster. Originally rolled this incredibly rare example displays to excellent effect. One of the best looking and most collectable film posters of recent years from a TV series that has become a global favourite.     A striking movie poster that’s a well fitting design for this dark comedic horror “Stitches”. Designed by creative arts agency OC this British UK quad from 2012 is a great looking poster focuses on Ross Noble in full clown make-up as the dis-figured titular serial killer ‘Stitches’. A very creepy and eye-catching image. Although designed to look like a battered and distressed, it is printed on a heavier stock paper (which enhances and gives the muted colours a real depth) it actually presents near perfectly being originally rolled (as issued) and is genuinely scarce with very limited showings in a small number of ‘art-house’ & ‘specialist’ cinemas. A memorable piece of ‘modern’ horror film memorabilia that is hugely collectable encompassing not just movie fans but also the horror art marketplace and fans of the comedian Ross Noble.

    Trivia: The medication that Tommy takes to relieve anxiety is called “Hypnocil”, the same name as the medication used to suppress dreams in the Nightmare on Elm Street series.

    Trivia: Many years after making this movie, Edward Woodward re-visited some of the locations and claimed that he found the makeshift cross (that Howie makes out of some pieces of wood) still intact where it was left in the original scene.

An award winning poster this original British UK quad film poster from first year of release 2013 features a multi-layered shadowy head shot of the Film’s star Scarlett Johannson. The horizontal landscape layout of the British poster perfectly suits Kellerhouse’s impressive design. Already hailed as a modern iconic sci-fi image these posters are incredibly rare and collectible. Printed on heavier than normal paper and originally rolled (as issued) this displays very well with only light handling handling wear. Due to a very limited cinematic release of this ‘art-house’ independent movie these posters are extremely scarce and sought after. This hard to find example represents a great piece of ‘modern’ original movie memorabilia.

    Trivia: The men lured into the van by Scarlett Johansson‘s character were not actors. Jonathan Glazer had hidden cameras installed in the van and only informed the men afterwards that they were in a movie.

    With its iconic Ralph Steadman artwork an original 1987 UK quad film poster for Bruce Robinson’s massive cult hit “Withnail and I” is one of the scarcest and most sought after British film posters of the 80’s with prices (if you can find one) into four figures. Thank fully for the 10th Anniversary re-release in 1997 Handmade Films produced a ‘new’ poster for this remastered cult classic, which although rare (again due to limited cinematic releases) are available. Steadman’s design is retained for the title with gilt framed colour photograph of the titular “Withnail and I” (Richard E. Grant and Paul McGann) off setting a yellow linoleum floor full of fag ends, beans and rubbish…Very in-keeping with the overall atmosphere of squalor that pervades the film. Offered here is an exceptional unrestored country of origin British UK quad movie poster from 1997 re-release for one of the most celebrated British film’s of recent times. Originally rolled (as issued) this presents and displays superbly and represents a much more affordable alternative for a truly classic cult British movie which respected critic and entertainer Jonathan Ross described as…“One of the funniest British films ever made”.
