An excellent example for one of the best comedy horror films ever made…“Gremlins”. Written by Chris Columbus (Harry Potter, The Goonies) and directed by Joe Dante it was a huge box office hit. Re-released by Warner Bros. in 2019, recognising the fact that the movie has now become a classic ‘Christmas’ movie with Gizmo dressed in a Santa hat set against a Snow White background with the landscape format of the British UK quad perfectly suited to his design. Originally rolled (as issued) this 2019 film poster presents and displays very well. Totally original and unrestored this hard to find modern re-release of an important 80’s movie is becoming more and more sought after and represents a great collectable piece of original film movie memorabilia.
Trivia: Zach Galligan recounted in an interview that when the movie was made, there was no CGI, so all of the Gremlins were animatronics, each costing between $30,000-40,000 ($60,000-$90,500 adjusted for 2024 inflation). When everyone left the lot for the day, security would have everyone open the trunks of their cars to make sure they weren’t stolen.

A absolutely beautiful complete set of all eight (8) US front of house lobby cards for one of the best vampire films ever made…Joel Schumacher’s “The Lost Boys”. Featuring a series of eight fantastic full colour images with our highlight card – Kiefer Sutherland and his vampiric family being my personal favourite. Originally flat and unfolded (as issued) all eight (8) appear unused and present to excellent effect. This is THE teenage angst vampire movie with this investment grade set showcasing the teen vampires in all their undead glory…“Something I never could stomach about Santa Carla, all the damn vampires!”
Trivia: In the cave of the Lost Boys, you can see a poster of Jim Morrison, who recorded the original version of “People are Strange” with The Doors. Also, when Star and Laddie are being carried into Sam’s room, you can see a poster of Echo & The Bunnymen, who recorded the version used in the movie.

Featuring country unique artwork by the Japanese artist Akira Yokoyama, this really is one of the best examples created for this cult horror-comedy title. Originally rolled (as issued) this presents to excellent effect. This is THE teenage angst vampire movie with this high grade poster showcasing the teen vampires in all their undead glory…“Something I never could stomach about Santa Carla, all the damn vampires!”

Original 1985 UK Quad cinema poster for Richard Donner’s much-loved adventure “The Goonies”. A magnificent example for one of the best feelgood films ever made…Richard Donner’s “The Goonies”. Add to the mix Steven Spielberg & Chris Columbus it was a guaranteed box office hit, but just to make sure they commissioned movie poster maestro Noriyoshi Ohrai to create an alternative style poster for the Japanese marketing campaign that complemented and could be displayed next to Drew Struzan’s familiar ‘hanging’ design . Ohrai in turn produced some of the best work of his career as featured here on this original 1985 Style A Japanese B2 film poster. The portrait format is perfectly suited to his design which is fondly referred to as the ‘One-Eyed Willie’ style. Originally rolled (as issued) this unrestored example looks incredible with amazing vibrant colour tones. A fantastic and eye-catching item for a hugely loved and popular movie that represents scarce original movie memorabilia for a film poster that has become one of the most desirable titles of the 1980’s…“Goonies never say die !”
Trivia: One Eyed Willie’s ship, The Inferno, was 105 feet long and took 2-1/2 months to construct. It was modeled after Errol Flynn‘s ship in The Sea Hawk (1940). The sails required more than 7,000 square feet of material, the largest measured 30ft by 60ft. Some of the ship’s rigging was recycled for the Pirates of the Caribbean ship at Disneyland, which was being renovated at the time.

He in turn produced some of the best work of his career as featured here on this Japanese B2 movie poster. The portrait format is perfectly suited to his design which is fondly referred to as the ‘hanging’ style as the seven Goonies are left hanging from a stalactite and it’s only on this design the characters have their own photographs displayed along the bottom edge. While this poster was available to the public, it was sold only at Japanese cinemas during the first release of the film and NOT by any third party sellers or after the end of the first release period. It is considered to be much rarer than the Japanese theatrical posters from this same title and has a tiny silver Stik metallic square licensing snipe attached to the bottom corner. Originally rolled (as issued) this unrestored example looks incredible and presents and displays superbly. An amazing item for a hugely loved and popular movie and a fantastic piece of scarce original movie memorabilia for a film poster that has become one of the most desirable titles of the 1980’s…“Goonies never say die !”

Artist Casey Booth is back from a trip to Santa Carla with a stunning giclee print that bites for Joel Schumacher’s “The Lost Boys”. This 2026 hand-numbered (#25/75) limited edition release is a proper horror poster as leader of The Lost Boys – David (Kiefer Sutherland) is the main focus with the would be vampire hunters blended into the background and printed using an incredible colour palette of blood reds inks. Presented in excellent condition this rolled, flat and unfolded (as issued) example displays superbly and is an impressive piece of artwork and a hugely desirable alternative movie poster. What is Giclee ?
Derived from the French term gicler – meaning ‘to squirt or spray’, the term describes a printing process whereby microscopic dots of pigment-based ink are sprayed onto archival-quality paper to ensure the fidelity of a limited edition print to an original artwork.
The richness, accuracy and depth of colour is thanks to the method’s potential to achieve a huge colour gamut (the spectrum of colours distinguishable by the human eye). Unlike the four tones used in lithography, giclées often use five: light cyan, cyan, light magenta, yellow and black.
Fantastic for reproductions which require maximum detail, giclées are most commonly found on watercolour paper or canvas, but can also be created on glass. Different types of paper will produce different effects. Matte paper works well behind glass due its lack of reflectivity, whilst the shine of a glossy finish can give an artwork a brighter appearance.

Striking alternative movie poster for Joel Schumacher’s cult 1987 vampire classic “The Lost Boys”, featuring artwork by celebrated British illustrator Graham Humphreys.
Humphreys is one of Britain’s most recognisable horror film illustrators, with a career spanning more than four decades. He became closely associated with the genre during the 1980s through his work for Palace Pictures, creating memorable British poster artwork for films including “The Evil Dead”, “Evil Dead II” and “A Nightmare on Elm Street”. Influenced by horror cinema and the visual energy of the British punk scene, Humphreys developed a distinctive painted style that has become particularly associated with the golden age of 1980s horror. Remarkably, he continues to produce his artwork using traditional paint on paper rather than digital illustration.
For “The Lost Boys”, Humphreys’ wonderfully atmospheric composition brings together the film’s principal characters, with Kiefer Sutherland as David dominating the artwork in full vampire form, surrounded by Corey Haim, Jami Gertz and members of the vampire gang. The dark blue and blood-red palette perfectly captures the stylish gothic horror of the film, while the famous tagline, “Sleep all day. Party all night. Never grow old. Never die. It’s fun to be a vampire.”, appears across the top.
This beautiful poster measures 24 x 36 inches and is hand-numbered 33/87 from the limited edition. It is rolled (as issued) and presented in excellent condition.
