“Some men dream the future. He built it”

Stunning artwork and design for this original 2004 UK Quad (Golden Globe Awards version) movie poster as Leonardo DiCaprio stars as the ‘troubled’ billionaire genius in Martin Scorsese’s Howard Hughes biopic “The Aviator”. A striking looking poster designed by the renowned FEREF advertising agency with deep rich colour tones that immediately grabs your attention. This originally rolled (as issued) example displays and presents to excellent effect & certainly impresses.

The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou

  £275.00

“The deeper you go, the weirder life gets !”

“The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou” was a cult success on its release with Wes Anderson’s loyal fanbase hailing another solid cinematic offering, it is most certainly an unusual film. It’s something of a collage of colorful imagery, fragmented shots, quirky music, strange characters, bizarre situations, and amusing montages – it perfectly suits the artistic style of one of my favourite alternative movie poster artists – Ise Ananphada, with this limited edition (a print run of only 175), hand-numbered screen print for “The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou” one of the best (if not the best) for the title and has been created using fifteen (15) different coloured inks. Originally rolled (as issued) this art print from 2020 is a real eye-catcher that looks and displays to excellent effect and represents an extremely hard to find, modern original collectable movie memorabilia from a truly exceptional writer/director and a supremely talented artist.

Trivia: The red woollen caps worn by the characters are a reference to Jacques-Yves Cousteau, famed underwater film-maker and co-inventor of the modern aqualung.
