“Love Comes To The Forest Folk . . . and to you, in one of the world’s greatest love stories !”
Original British front of house full colour lobby card produced by Walt Disney for their 1982 cinematic re-release of “Bambi” which features the young playful fawn Bambi and his friend Thumper. Originally made during the middle of WW2 and following Snow White, Pinocchio and Dumbo this cartoon must have provided some relief to world weary families. Although initially disappointing box office returns the film went on to become one of the true classics of Disney studios. The film is a coming of age story about a fawn living in the forest and was the first of Disney’s cartoons to feature an all animal cast. Originally flat and unfolded (as issued) this unrestored example presents superbly with amazing vibrant colours and represents a fine example of rare and collectable original movie memorabilia for a much loved Walt Disney classic.…more detail
“The ultimate in sight and sound…FANTASIA will AMAZIA !”
“FANTASIA” is without a doubt the greatest animated film in history. While highly acclaimed and well-known today, it was not terribly popular when it was first released. Disney’s idea of “FANTASIA” was to take great pieces of music and draw animated sequences that match them. In doing so, it reverses the purpose of a movie’s score; the movie serves and matches the music, not the other way around. The lack of plot really didn’t matter though as you became immersed in a sumptuous visual and audio experience, unlike anything before or since. This is a rare opportunity to obtain one of the scarce original early re-release film posters and offered here is an original UK quad movie poster from the 1961 British release. Like all Disney campaigns of the time the advertising merchandise is of the highest quality which is fully in evidence here; stunning detailed artwork (unique to the UK release) with stone-litho printing and deep rich colours that literally ‘pop’ from the paper. Truly outstanding and one that is far better appreciated in the flesh than can ever be shown in a photograph. Originally folded (as issued) this unrestored film poster presents superbly and is a fine example of rare and collectable original movie memorabilia for a much respected animated Walt Disney classic.

Walt Disney’s greatest movie…“Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs“. An extremely rare example of Disney memorabilia. This original US one sheet for the 1993 re-release is the very scarce “Mirror” version. The oval centre actually acts as a mirror because of the foil used to produce the poster (hence apologies for the image…it’s a tough one to photograph) with the border printed to look like a mirror frame. This is movie memorabilia come to life straight from the silver screen to your wall. “Look out for that WILD Mr. Toad !”
Originally released as a mini double feature in 1949 under the title “The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad.” Walt Disney’s classic “Wind in the Willows” won a devoted adoring fan base and often featured as a popular ‘filler’ for other Disney films and in 1955 garnered such a following it earned its own poster. The UK quad for this release is a magical piece of Disney illustration featuring Toad enthusiastically driving his latest automobile closely followed by the local constabulary as the supporting cast; Rat, McBadger, Mole, Cyril Proudbottom look on…A FUN poster and one that is genuinely scarce when compared to the mainstream offerings from the ‘House of Mouse’ .
