Trivia: The scene at the Yakuza bar where Batou drinks a beer served by a bartender with a mechanized arm is an homage to Ratz the bartender in “Neuromancer” by William Gibson who’s book is considered a heavy influence on cyberpunk.

This is a hand numbered regular edition of only 300 with this being #241 printed on a heavy matt finish stock paper. Originally flat & unfolded (as issued) this superb example displays to impressive effect (honestly the photo does not do this justice…needs to be seen), perfectly suited to this portrait format. Highly detailed with Iron Man providing a great Marvel ‘Easter Egg’ it features Spider-Man (Tom Holland in his first big screen standalone “Spider-Man” role) in typical ‘wall-crawler pose. Very cool and very collectable this exceptional looking piece represents a fantastic item of ‘modern’ super-hero movie memorabilia.

Trivia: Aunt May’s car number plate is AMF-1562. AMF is Amazing Fantasy, 15 is the issue number, and 62 is 1962, the year Spider-Man first appeared.

One of the best looking ‘modern’ film posters produced in a long time…Award winning British UK quad film poster for Guillermo Del Toro’s multi award winning (& nominated) dark sci-fi fantasy movie “The Shape of Water”. With beautiful painted artwork by design agency ‘Midnight Oil’ this design is perfectly suited to the landscape format of the British quad. A whole range of green and blue colour tones is used with the background incredibly detailed and made up the ‘Creature’s’ scales; this is very subtle and only evident on close inspection. This originally rolled (as issued) example displays and presents to excellent effect with stunning graphics and represents a truly impressive piece of collectable original film movie memorabilia.
Trivia: The creature design is heavily inspired by the film Creature from the Black Lagoon(1954). Michael Shannon’s character says they picked it up in the Amazon river in South America, which is the setting of The Creature from the film.
