“Act like you own the place…”
Through films like Okja and Snowpiercer, director Bong Joon Ho has dazzled audiences with his unique knack for blending genres to tell layered, one-of-a-kind stories and now in the multi Academy Award winning “Parasite” he is receiving the critical and commercial acclaim he so richly deserves. To complement the Oscar success the hugely respected creative arts agency La Boca were commissioned to design a film poster to accompany some of the post Oscar screenings, resulting in a very special poster depicting a cut-away house image (look closely and you will see an Oscar underneath the table on the central far left illustration) that is unique to this British format. The original 2019 UK quad poster offered here presents and displays to excellent effect being originally rolled (as issued). An outstanding and extremely scarce ‘modern’ art/film poster that represents a fantastic piece of movie memorabilia.
Trivia: The film makes several nods to Alfred Hitchcock throughout. Stairs are used as a motif, voyeurism is used as characters watch scenes through windows 14 times, and (most obviously) there is a brief glimpse of an out of place Alfred Hitchcock collection in the Park’s home.

An incredibly rare find, a 2023 Park Circus UK quad film poster for Michael Powell’s disturbing 1960 voyeuristic thriller “Peeping Tom”. One of the most distinctive and best redesigned of any posters from the genre and rightly regarded as a British classic and highly sought after by collectors. “Peeping Tom” was not a great commercial success at the time of its release, and was largely over shadowed by Hitchcock’s “Psycho” and often treated as a film ‘way ahead of its time’ with filmgoers reluctant to see it due to Powell’s controversial content. The originally rolled (as issued), unrestored example offered here has minimal handling and displays & presents to excellent effect with beautiful colour tones and dramatic imagery. Incredibly scarce, as it received a very limited release and was only shown in a handful of ‘Park Circus’ affiliated cinemas. A must have title for the serious collector or fan it represents a fantastic item of good looking collectible movie memorabilia.
Trivia: The critical mauling and public outcry about the film resulted in it being pulled from British cinemas after just five days.

Any paper for Kathryn Bigelow’s 1991 crime actioner “Point Break” is highly sought after. It is such a super stylish and cool heist movie that is much loved by a huge fanbase. This original British UK quad is a great looking film poster featuring not just the two male leads – Patrick Swayze and Keanu Reeves but also number of action scenes from the movie. Originally rolled (as issued) this looks and displays to excellent effect and is the best example of this poster I have ever offered for sale and the only ROLLED one. A scarce, original super collectable item of cinematic movie memorabilia for one of the best ‘buddy-movies’ of recent years with some of the greatest extreme action shots ever filmed.
Trivia: The film was originally called “Johnny Utah” when Keanu Reeves was cast in the title role. The studio felt that this title said very little about surfing, and by the time Patrick Swayze was cast, the film had been renamed Riders on the Storm after the famous song by The Doors. However, the lyrics had nothing to do with the film, and so that title was also rejected. It was not until halfway through filming that “Point Break” became the film’s title, because of its relevance to surfing.

Directed by John McTiernan, who would go on to helm “Die Hard” the following year (arguably the greatest action movie ever made), the film is an excellent mix of gung-ho action and sci-fi horror with a truly iconic monster (designed by Stan Winston). The rare and original UK quad film poster offered here is from first year of release 1987 and was created by a team at the FEREF design agency, including Stephen Laws, Frank Hillary and acclaimed movie poster artist Brian Bysouth. This was one of the first film posters by the artist to have been created with photo composition and not painted, as had been the case with his previous posters. This ‘thermal imaging’ version has a great action image of Dutch (Arnold Schwarzenegger) and is considered a classic amongst collectors of the genre. Originally folded (as issued – the fold lines are soft from being stored flat for a number of years) this beautiful unrestored example displays and presents to excellent effect. Sought after and extremely hard to find in this high grade condition it represents a fine piece of collectable original movie memorabilia.
Trivia: The mandibles of the Predator were the idea of James Cameron.

Trivia: The Predator costume weighed over two hundred pounds, and even though 7’2″ Kevin Peter Hall was a large and powerful man, he had to be connected to a “bungie” rig, to enable him to move more believably.

“Prince of Darkness” sees John Carpenter not just in the director’s chair, he wrote the soundtrack and also the screenplay under the pseudonym Martin Quatermass, which is a direct homage to Bernard Quatermass, the lead character in Hammer’s film and TV series that started with The Quatermass Experiment and that features several elements in common with Carpenter’s story. The film is the second in what the director calls his ‘Apocalypse Trilogy’ that started with The Thing (1982) and ended with In the Mouth of Madness (1994) and is the result of Carpenter’s interest in theoretical physics and atomic theory as well as the idea of an ultimate evil or ‘anti-god’ combined with the physics-based concept of matter and anti-matter. Carpenter always a well regarded and popular film maker has enjoyed a huge renaissance in more recent years so it was no surprise that this title was one of four seminal movies by the director re-released by Studio Canal in 2018, remastered in 4K, with the others being “They Live”, “Escape From New York” and “The Fog”. All four movies had a strictly limited cinematic release and were accompanied a newly designed poster campaign (quads and one-sheets) by leading artist Matt Ferguson. Ferguson’s unique artistic style is evident throughout the four, each with its very own unique colour palette. A number of these full-size 30″ x 40″ UK quad styles were also released as a limited edition art print by Vice Press. Identical to the cinematic quad, in fact exactly the same – same paper, printer etc these were issued as timed releases each signed and hand-numbered by Matt Ferguson. Offered here is one of these signed art prints numbered #48 from a print run of only 184. Originally rolled (as issued) it presents in excellent condition. A cool, cult poster that represents very collectable & desirable original film memorabilia from one of the greatest and most influential director’s who is still actively working in the film industry.
Trivia: John Carpenter claims to have been fascinated with religion ever since watching the old Hammer horror films and how Holy Water would destroy vampires.

Trivia: Screenwriter John Carpenter is credited as “Martin Quatermass”. The pseudonym is a homage to Professor Bernard Quatermass, the lead character of The Quatermass Experiment (1953) and several subsequent TV series and film versions. In the original press notes he was described as ‘the brother of Professor Bernard Quatermass, head of the British rocket programme.’ In a further nod to Carpenter’s influences, the character Wyndham is named after science-fiction author John Wyndham and Anne Howard‘s character is named after the star of The Wasp Woman (1959), Susan Cabot.

There is no doubting the influence and impact of Quentin Tarantino’s 1994 masterpiece “Pulp Fiction” and like so many of the Tarantino films the paper from each has become hugely collectable. The 30th Anniversary UK quad release offered here is no exception. This popular and most recognisable design by Indika Entertainment Advertising has been adapted as a black and style with Uma Thurman’s bright red lips the perfect complement to the monotone imagery – truly striking and enhanced by the print quality and colour saturation. Very cool looking, and incredibly scarce, with only a limited release in a small number of cinemas. This is a fantastic original poster from Quentin Tarantino’s most celebrated film to date. Originally rolled (as issued) this totally unrestored example presents and displays to excellent effect and represents a hugely collectible piece of movie memorabilia from a truly iconic movie…“I do believe Marsellus Wallace, my husband, your boss, told you to take ME out and do WHATEVER I WANTED. Now I wanna dance, I wanna win. I want that trophy, so dance good.”
Trivia: Uma Thurman originally turned down the role of Mia Wallace. Quentin Tarantino was so desperate to have her as Mia, he ended up reading her the script over the phone, finally convincing her to take on the role

“The radio station where Robert is a disc jockey was based on the United Biscuits Network, which broadcast to factories owned by United Biscuits.”
“Radio On” is one of the landmark English films of the past 45 years and considered to be a British classic. Christopher Petit, an English novelist and filmmaker wrote and directed the movie. The film is set in late 1970s Britain, in a post-punk era, and released in 1979. That was the time when Britain’s political and social state was about to change, as the Thatcher years were in their infancy. The story centres around a distant young DJ named Robert, played by David Beames, who is on a mission to find more information about his brother’s alleged suicide. His trip finds him travelling from London to Bristol, where en route, he meets a collection of unique individuals who join him on his pursuit for answers. Filmed in moody black and white that theme is continued with the film poster that was used to market the movie. Using a photograph from Sickert this original UK quad from first year of release in 1979 remastered re-release features eye-catching imagery. Originally rolled (as issued) this displays to excellent effect being totally original and unrestored and presented in a very high grade. Having a very limited standalone release (it was primarily screened as a double-bill with Luis Bunuel’s “L’Age D’Or”) these posters are particularly scarce and represents a hugely desirable item of music related cinematic memorabilia.

Silents Synced have stylishly and cleverly paired, a classic silent horror movie with epic rock music to bring audiences a unique big screen experience with “Radiohead X Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror”. Directed and remixed by Josh Frank this reimagining of the iconic Nosferatu (1922) features Radiohead’s Kid A (2000) and Amnesiac (2001) albums. An unauthorized adaptation of Bram Stoker’s Dracula, Nosferatu (1922) is the quintessential silent vampire film, crafted by legendary German director F. W. Murnau. Rather than depicting Dracula as a shape-shifting monster or debonair gentleman, Murnau’s Graf Orlok (as portrayed by Max Shreck) is a nightmarish, spidery creature of bulbous head and taloned claws – perhaps the most genuinely disturbing incarnation of vampirism yet envisioned. This imaginative new take on an iconic horror classic is accompanied by an equally striking poster. Designed by EMEK it resembles a vintage black and white engraving with colour (it had to be RED) used sparingly for maximum effect. With a very limited release & showing in only a handful of independent art-house cinemas and drive-ins the advertising posters for the screenings are truly scarce. Originally rolled (as issued) this eye-catching example displays and presents to excellent effect and represents a fine piece of horror movie cinematic memorabilia with a slice of Radiohead thrown in for the music fan.

Based upon Rob Bottin’s iconic ‘robo’ suit design Mike Bryan produced the perfect poster to complement his graphics. A truly striking image for Paul Verhoeven’s ultra violent sci-fi masterpiece “Robocop” that is perfectly suited to the landscape format of the British quad and has been SIGNED BY SEVEN (7) OF THE CAST. From original year of release 1987 this originally folded (as issued) example presents and displays very well and has been signed by seven (7) of the cast with most adding their character name or a quote from the film; Peter Weller, ROBO 10/18/24 – Nancy Allen, Lewis, Murphy it’s you – Ronny Cox, Dick Jones, He’s my cyborg you idiot – Ray Wise, Leon, Don’t touch me man! – S.D. Nemeth – Mark Carlton, Miller – Sage Parker, Dr Tyler . This impressive film poster represents a fantastic piece of original collectable movie memorabilia from one of the defining movies of the 80’s complemented by the addition of so many autographs from the main cast . The ‘original’ & BEST, “Robocop” is fondly remembered and spawned a popular TV show, two sequels and was recently remade as a ‘big budget’ CGI sci-fi actioner…“I’d buy that for a dollar !”

Trivia: Realizing that the film was running behind schedule and over budget, director Paul Verhoeven and producer Jon Davison purposely did not film one crucial scene: Officer Murphy’s death. When production wrapped, they went back to Los Angeles and grimly informed the execs that Murphy’s death had not been filmed. After watching the footage they did film, the execs were so astonished by the aesthetics and performances they gave the filmmakers more money and they filmed the scene in a redecorated warehouse in Los Angeles.

This original 1991 British Quad film poster is a steam punk art-deco delight featuring the incredible artwork of John Mattos. Truly beautiful imagery that’s perfectly suited to the Republic Pulp Serial approach of Joe Johnston’s “Rocketeer”. Based upon Dave Stevens’ graphic comic novel the Walt Disney Studio produced an enjoyable stylised romp set in the early days of pulp comics and superheroes that quickly became a cult favourite. The Advance film poster offered here is by far the most sought after of paper produced for the Film as it’s all artwork with just the title. The landscape format perfectly suits John Mattos’ dynamic super hero artwork. This unrestored, original rolled (as issued) example displays to excellent effect. Genuinely scarce and highly desirable, not just to film buffs (the art-deco design appeals to number of collectors) this superb piece represents a fantastic piece of desirable film movie memorabilia.
Trivia: Artist and creator of the ‘Rocketeer’ Dave Stevens played the man in the test flight movie, who has the rocket pack strapped to his back (the test pilot).
