“A Fairy Tale for Troubled Times”
One of the best looking ‘modern’ film posters produced in a long time…Award winning British UK quad film poster for Guillermo Del Toro’s multi award winning (& nominated) dark sci-fi fantasy movie “The Shape of Water”. With beautiful painted artwork by design agency ‘Midnight Oil’ this design is perfectly suited to the landscape format of the British quad. A whole range of green and blue colour tones is used with the background incredibly detailed and made up the ‘Creature’s’ scales; this is very subtle and only evident on close inspection. This originally rolled (as issued) example displays and presents to excellent effect with stunning graphics and represents a truly impressive piece of collectable original film movie memorabilia.
Trivia: The creature design is heavily inspired by the film Creature from the Black Lagoon(1954). Michael Shannon’s character says they picked it up in the Amazon river in South America, which is the setting of The Creature from the film.

One of the stand out films of the early 90’s & certainly one of the best and most eye-catching marketing campaigns. “TREMORS” is the kind of movie that can’t be placed in a certain genre. It’s a little bit of everything; horror, comedy, action, adventure and a fine homage to 50’s B-Movie sci-fi/horror flicks. This British video poster for Ron Underwood’s “TREMORS” is genuinely scarce and a hard poster to track down. Much like “The Shawshank Redemption” it is one of those film’s that hugely benefitted from the ‘home’ video market going on to achieve huge popularity and cult status, resulting in (to date) four sequels and a TV series. Offered here is an incredibly rare rolled (as issued) British video poster from first year of release, 1990. Original and unrestored it presents to excellent effect with deep bright colour tones and incredible (with a tip of the hat to “Jaws”) ‘creature’ artwork… A modern genre classic that represents a superb piece of original and highly collectable movie memorabilia.
Trivia: Prior to the film’s release, Kevin Bacon felt that the film was a career low: “I broke down and fell to the sidewalk, screaming to my pregnant wife, ‘I can’t believe I’m doing a movie about underground worms!'”

“Stealing, Cheating, Killing. Who said romance is dead ?”
A scarce movie poster for Tony Scott’s 1993 all-star crime actioner “True Romance”…Written by Quentin Tarantino to raise the funds for Reservoir Dogs this hugely under-rated ‘heist/car chase’ film retains a truly loyal cult following. Featuring a multitude of character shots this originally rolled (as issued) example is in excellent unrestored condition that presents & displays superbly…Incredibly COOL & a fine piece of highly collectible original film movie memorabilia.
Trivia: Although this movie was not directed by Quentin Tarantino, it is still considered part of the Tarantino universe. The two key pieces of evidence, is Lee Donowitz being the grandson of Sergeant Donnie Donowitz from Inglourious Basterds (2009), this being confirmed by Tarantino. The second piece of evidence, is the fact that Mr. White from Reservoir Dogs(1992) mentioned working with a girl named “Alabama”.

“Get ready for the experience of a lifetime”…If you know your your EDM from your EDC then this original 2014 US one sheet movie poster for Insomniac Events “Under the Electric Sky” is for you. Designed by creative agency P & A it is one of the most eye-popping colourful electro-pop posters I have ever seen, it bleeds colour and looks incredible; a real tribute to some of the best psychEDeliC posters of the late 60’s. Never having a full cinema release in the UK (only available on Netflix) these US one sheet posters are scarce & have become highly collectable. In 2006 design house Concept Arts produced five outstanding campaign posters for Alan Moore’s alternate timeline thriller “V for Vendetta” which features a fascist Great Britain under a totalitarian government regime. With each version hugely collectable in their own right this very rare original ‘Flames Style’ Advance Teaser “Coming Soon” one sheet is a great example of modern design and graphics; strong colours, complemented by stark, bold imagery…Originally rolled (as issued) this displays to excellent effect and represents a fine piece of very desirable original ‘modern’ movie memorabilia…“People should not be afraid of their governments…Governments should be afraid of their people”

One of the most defining cinematic images of the 20th century, Saul Bass’ spiral poster design for this classic 1958 Alfred Hitchcock thriller “Vertigo” has become synonymous with the film. Bass’s intention to convey the feeling of vertigo through this design is clearly felt in his simple and stylish graphics, symbolising the downward spiral of events in the movie’s timeline.
