  • House of 1000 Corpses Movie Poster

    House of 1000 Corpses

    £195.00

“The most shocking tale of carnage ever seen.”

“House of 1000 Corpses” is a stylish, gore-laden 2003 offering which marks marks the directorial debut of Trash/Industrial Artist Musician Rob Zombie. Largely unheard of outside Zombie’s fiercely loyal fanbase it grew to be a cult horror classic, proving hugely influential for the low budget flicks that followed. Because of a very limited cinema release schedule and a low print run these posters are genuinely rare and hard to find. This originally rolled (as issued) 2003 UK quad displays superbly with great horror imagery from British artist Graham Humphreys and represents a fine example of horror memorabilia.

Trivia: Otis’ and Baby’s bizarre rants during the “home movie” segments are inspired by the Charles Manson family’s supposed home movies.

First released in 1971 this original Advance US One Sheet 2004 re-release movie poster is exceptional. Originally rolled (as issued) it presents in excellent original unrestored condition. A very hard to find poster in any condition which makes this high grade rolled investment condition piece a real talking piece. Hugely collectable & desirable original film memorabilia from the iconic director and creator of “Star Wars”.

Trivia: To provide the large number of extras required, George Lucas contacted the Synanon drug rehabilitation facility. He found many recovering drug users who were required to be shaved bald for the drug program anyway. The Synanon Facility is mentioned in Philip K Dick’s science fiction novel “Valis”.
