  V for Vendetta

  £175.00

“People should not be afraid of their governments…Governments should be afraid of their people“

In 2006 design house Concept Arts produced five outstanding campaign posters for Alan Moore’s alternate timeline thriller “V for Vendetta” which features a fascist Great Britain under a totalitarian government regime. With each version hugely collectable in their own right this very rare original ‘Raised Fist Style’ Advance “March 17” Teaser US one sheet is a great example of modern design and graphics; muted colours, stark, bold imagery that’s made to look like a battered old billboard poster…Originally rolled (as issued) this displays to excellent effect and represents a fine piece of very desirable original ‘modern’ movie memorabilia…“Freedom !…Forever !”

Trivia: There are two references made to the notorious punk rock band Sex Pistols, particularly the two songs that were banned in England, “God Save the Queen” and “Anarchy in the U.K.” The group was banned from England for speaking about revolution and anarchy, two of this movie’s main points. Their ban marked an era of censorship.
