Say something outrageous”…Any paper from this cult punk rock film is extremely sought after and this example is easily the rarest…An iconic punk image; Johnny Rotten and Sid Vicious performing against the distressed backdrop of the Union Jack flag in Julien Temple’s “No Future: A Sex Pistols Film”. The Japanese title for his Sex Pistols biopic “The Filth and Fury”. This original large format Japan B1 from first year of release 2000 is an extremely rare film poster. • Sid & Nancy Movie Poster

    Sid & Nancy

    £65.00

“Sidney’s more than a mere bass player. He’s a fabulous disaster. He’s a symbol, a metaphor, he embodies the dementia of a nihilistic generation. He’s a fuckin’ star.”

One of the rarer posters from Ale Cox’s movie that was meant to define punk’s ‘Posh & Becks’. This is the 2016, 30th Anniversary re-release for the punk-rocku-drama “Sid & Nancy”. Considering it was such a bleak and colourless film the use of bright yellow and red as a main part of the design is unusual to say the least. Still it works & this originally rolled (as issued) version displays and presents to excellent effect and looks superb. If you were a fan, a punk or identify with the film then this is a great snapshot of the time, the pop culture and the genre.

Trivia: Gary Oldman lived on a diet of steamed fish and melon to lose enough weight to play the emaciated, heroin-addicted Sid, and was hospitalized when he went too far and became malnourished.

  • Soul Boys of the Western World – Spandau Ballet: The Film

    £100.00

“To Cut a Long Story Short”…It’s not many films that get a a London premiere at the Royal Albert Hall, but then it’s not every film that tells the story of meteoric rise, fall and ultimate reunion of new romantic pop sensations, Spandau Ballet.  The advertising campaign was very low key and the UK film poster that accompanied the extremely limited cinema release is truly scarce. It really is a great snap shot of the 80’s image of the band from their first visit to New York. Originally rolled this incredibly rare example displays as new. Never commercially available the posters for this release are unbelievably scarce…fantastic item of Spandau Ballet / New Romantics / film / cultural  memorabilia   presented in investment grade condition !

  • Original THE SEX PISTOLS - God Save the Queen Promotional Poster

THE SEX PISTOLS – God Save the Queen Poster

    £4,250.00

“Bill Grundy – Keep going, chief, keep going. You’ve got another 5 seconds. Say something outrageous”

A Virgin Records poster from 1977 promoting punk rock band The Sex Pistols’ single “God Save the Queen”, which was included on their album Never Mind the Bollocks, Here’s the Sex Pistols. This artwork was designed by British artist Jamie Reid, who collaborated with The Sex Pistols several times and often incorporated anarchist themes into his designs. Highly regarded as the most recognisable and memorable image of the punk era, Reid’s design features a monochromatic, defaced image of Queen Elizabeth II (from an original photograph by Peter Grugeon) with cutout letters forming the song title pasted over her eyes and mouth. Totally original and unrestored in very  good rolled (as issued) condition. A true investment grade piece of original highly collectable extremely scarce rock n roll punk memorabilia.
