  An extremely rare and desirable country of origin double crown film poster for Jonathan Glazer’s dark brit-gangster thriller “Sexy Beast”. Created by Empire Design with finished artwork by Michael Godard this award winning original 2000 UK quad film poster is a fantastic looking piece…a deeply sunburnt Gal (Ray Winstone) relaxing in an over-sized martini glass offset against a dark black background; a simple that stays in the memory. Originally rolled (as issued) this poster displays beautifully and is presented in exceptional condition with some of the best design seen on a modern poster. Incredibly scarce this fine example represents hugely collectable original movie memorabilia from a cult British crime thriller.

  Trivia: Ray Winstone travelled to Spain two weeks before filming commenced to get as deep a tan as he could in the time possible and to eat as much as he could to bulk up considerably. He called it “the best rehearsal time I’ve ever had in my life.”

  By far the rarest and most desirable film poster for Jonathan Glazer’s dark brit-gangster thriller “Sexy Beast”. Produced by Empire Design this award winning original 2000 UK/International one sheet film poster is an incredible looking example…a deeply sunburnt Gal (Ray Winstone) relaxing poolside whilst the menacing shadow of his former partner in crime, Don (Sir Ben Kingsley) approaches; all photographed in blazing sunlight – you can feel the heat.  Extremely scarce, this poster displays beautifully being originally rolled (as issued) and is presented in excellent condition with one of the memorable designs seen on a ‘modern’ poster. An impressive and highly collectable example of original cinematic memorabilia.

With no-dates or credits this original British Uk quad is the first Advance teaser for Clint’s masterpiece. It is also the rarest style of “Unforgiven” posters. Dark and moody this originally rolled (as issued) example is in exceptional unrestored original condition with imagery particularly well suited to the horizontal landscape layout of the British quad. It displays superbly and looks stunning, presented in high-grade quality condition that represents a truly fine impressive example of original Clint Eastwood western cinematic movie memorabilia.

  “Eastwood’s Western Swansong”…“Unforgiven” may well be Clint Eastwood’s greatest triumph as an actor and director. In this grim, dark, and yet strangely beautiful story of former gunslinger William Munny (Eastwood), who comes out of retirement for one last job, Eastwood deliberately sets out to demystify the old West. This is evident in the conversations between Munny and the Schofield Kid (Jaimze Wolvett), who has a romanticized image of the old-time gunfighters, and between sheriff Little Bill Daggett (Gene Hackman) and hack journalist W.W. Beauchamp (Saul Rubinek). Bill Gold design and artwork for Clint Eastwood’s 1992 Oscar winning western “Unforgiven”. This ‘pay-off’ final release version features the familiar image of Eastwood with back to shot and beautiful portraits of his supporting cast – Richard Harris, Gene Hackman and Morgan Freeman. The landscape format of the UK quad perfectly suits the imagery and layout for Clint’s masterpiece, far better than the one-sheet, in my opinion.
