Designed by BLT Communications, LLC offered here is a final release design, double sided one-sheet from the blockbuster movie of 2008, “The Dark Knight”, the incredibly successful sequel to “Batman Begins” and (for the one & only time) Heath Ledger’s show stopping turn as ‘The Joker’. Where the previous ‘teaser’ posters had highlighted ‘The Joker’ this style firmly pushes a heroic Batman with the hint of his troubles to come illustrated by a flaming bat logo. The gritty dark colours are perfectly rendered allowing the burning bat logo to draw the eye. Originally rolled (as issued) this stunning country of origin, US one-sheet poster presents and displays to excellent effect and represents a truly desirable piece of original Batman movie memorabilia from a trilogy that has become one of the most collectable and popular modern movie franchises.
Trivia: The Joker’s mask during the initial bank robbery is almost exactly the same as the mask worn by Cesar Romero when hijacking a performance of Pagliacci in the original Batman(1966) television series.

Designed by Intralink Film Graphic Design these three one-sheet character designs – Batman (Christian Bale), Joker (Heath Ledger) and Two-Face (Aaron Eckhart) for Christopher Nolan’s blockbuster superhero movie “Batman: The Dark Knight” (2008) are truly impressive. Heath Ledger’s show stopping turn as ‘The Joker’ stole the movie and is just one of three characters (along with Batman and Two-Face) represented in this three one-sheet poster set. Presented in dark colour tones – blues, greys and black, the gritty dark colours perfectly suit the subject matter. Posters for Christopher Nolan’s Batman franchise have always been of the highest quality and Ignition Print have certainly not disappointed with this iconic design for the trilogy’s 2012 finale “The Dark Knight Rises”. In the comics Bane famously broke Batman’s back – Does the shattered Bat cowl tease that this time he goes one further ? Dark and stylish. A foretaste of things to come…A great way to use a teaser poster. Enigmatic and stylish, and in this Japanese B1 format truly impressive. The Japanese lettering perfectly suits the imagery, totally enhancing the overall effect. As Gotham City becomes a Bane induced war-zone the Dark Knight aided by the enigma that is Catwoman stand ready to defend his City. Posters for Christopher Nolan’s Batman franchise have always been of the highest quality and when independent publishers Mondo asked acclaimed Batman comic book artist Jock to design something special he didn’t disappoint. Jock’s imagery is stunning as a giant image of The Dark Knight composed of bats is seen looming over Gotham City. The minimal use of colour with just black, white and light grey being used only enhances the overall impact and makes for a nice change with most Batman imagery opting for the more typical dark coloured inks and a shadowy style. Of particular note and although a small detail (and easily overlooked) is the lettering, credits and logos as these are all hand drawn by Jock in a style that mimics the original typography. This Limited Edition, Hand Numbered (#16/375) edition for “The Dark Knight Rises” was only ever made available through Mondo at the 2012 San Diego Comic Con. Original rolled it is presented in excellent original condition. Jock, is arguably one of the most popular and talented comic book and poster artists, whose work sees some incredible aftermarket prices and is also some of the best and most innovative to be offered for sale.

Original 2012 International ‘Coming Soon’ one sheet cinema poster for Christopher Nolan’s epic conclusion to his acclaimed Batman trilogy, “The Dark Knight Rises”, starring Christian Bale, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman, Anne Hathaway, Tom Hardy, Marion Cotillard, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Morgan Freeman.

Christopher Nolan’s acclaimed Batman trilogy reaches its monumental conclusion in this matching pair of original UK Quad cinema posters for “The Dark Knight Rises”. Designed by the creative agency, Art Machine and offered together as a set of two, the complementary Batman and Bane styles capture the film’s central conflict and the chaos engulfing Gotham City.
The Batman-style poster shows Christian Bale’s Dark Knight standing defiantly above a damaged police car, surrounded by officers, crowds and clouds of debris. Its companion places Tom Hardy’s imposing Bane upon the Tumbler amid fire, smoke and his assembled followers. Together, the designs create a powerful visual contrast between Gotham’s returning protector and the masked revolutionary threatening its destruction.
Each poster measures 30 × 40 inches and features the concluding tagline, “The Legend Ends.” Both examples are presented rolled and remain in excellent condition.
