Adapted from Philip K. Dick’s novel ‘Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?’, Ridley Scott’s “Blade Runner” iconic dystopian classic is unquestionably one of the greatest sci-fi films ever made. Re-issued and released several times in various formats & ‘cuts’ these four over-sized full-colour lobby cards are from the original first release in 1982 as part of an extensive marketing campaign to promote the movie. Although critically acclaimed on initial release, commercially the film never really proved popular with the cinema going public resulting in any paper from the 1982 release extremely scarce, making these lobby cards very desirable. Three of the four cards feature Harrison Ford as the Blade Runner Deckard including a fantastic portrait image with the fourth card a shot of the futuristic 2019 Los Angeles. These special cards have no writing on the front at all, but on the reverse they have a Blade Runner logo of the title, with copyright information in the bottom of the back centre of each still. Each still is unrestored and offered excellent original unfolded/flat (as issued) condition. They display and present to beautiful effect and represent an impressive item of cinematic movie memorabilia for one of the most influential film’s not just of the sci-fi genre but modern culture in general.
Trivia: The final scene was shot literally hours before the producers were due to take creative control away from Ridley Scott.

“You are the victim of men who think they are right… Just as one day you and captain Yonoi believed absolutely that you were right. And the truth is of course that nobody is right…”
A complete set of all eight (8) US lobby cards presented in totally original unrestored condition. An absolutely fantastic collection of images from 1983, in what was to become a memorable screen role for David Bowie as Jack Celliers in Nagisa Ôshima’s “Merry Christmas, Mr. Lawrence”. The imagery chosen for the eight cards perfectly capture the whole feel of the movie with Bowie featured on six leaving Tom Conti, as the titular Mr. Lawrence and a prisoner of war riot to complete the set. Incredibly hard to source as a complete and in this high grade condition, as most sets were split as music fans focussed on the six cards highlighting Bowie. These, unfolded, flat (as issued) examples present and display to excellent effect and represent a really exciting music/movie collectable from one of the most influential icons of modern pop culture…David Bowie.
Trivia: David Bowie was cast in the role of Major Jack Celliers after director Nagisa Ôshima saw a performance of his on the stage in a Broadway production of ‘The Elephant Man’.

A beautiful and incredibly rare, complete set of eight (8), British front of house lobby cards for one of Hammer’s best – Roy Ward Baker’s 1967 supernatural alien invasion thriller “Quatermass and the Pit”. All eight cards feature Hammer regular Andrew Keir as Professor Bernard Quatermass in a variety of key scenes from the film. Flat and unfolded (as issued) with strong vibrant colours this totally original unrestored set of lobby cards, from first year of release 1967 present superbly and are a very rare example of country of origin Hammer Horror memorabilia from one of their finest and most respected productions…“You realise what you are implying? That we owe our human condition here to the intervention of insects”
Trivia: When Dr. Quatermass is picking at the eyeball of the dead Martian creature in his laboratory, the pupils of the compound eye are a rectangular slot shape rather then round like a human eye. This is reminiscent of a goat’s eye, a creature that, for centuries, has been associated with witchcraft and sorcery.
