There is no doubting the influence and impact of Francis Ford Coppola’s 1979 masterpiece “Apocalypse Now” with any paper hugely desirable and the original US lobby card offered here is no exception. This lobby card (#3) is the only one from the set of eight to feature Marlon Brando, and it is a fantastic close up image of him as a shaven headed Colonel Kurtz. A truly memorable image from Coppola’s voyage into the ‘Heart of Darkness’. Original British front of house full colour lobby card produced by Walt Disney for their 1982 cinematic re-release of “Bambi” which features the young playful fawn Bambi and his friend Thumper. Originally made during the middle of WW2 and following Snow White, Pinocchio and Dumbo this cartoon must have provided some relief to world weary families. Although initially disappointing box office returns the film went on to become one of the true classics of Disney studios. The film is a coming of age story about a fawn living in the forest and was the first of Disney’s cartoons to feature an all animal cast. Originally flat and unfolded (as issued) this unrestored example presents superbly with amazing vibrant colours and represents a fine example of rare and collectable original movie memorabilia for a much loved Walt Disney classic.
Trivia: Bambi (1942) was Walt Disney‘s personal favourite of all his animated features.

In arguably the most famous role of her career, Jane Fonda stars as “Barbarella” in Roger Vadim’s, campy, sci-fi fantasy. Based on the hugely popular French comic strip by Jean-Claude Forest the film is considered one of the 1960s quintessential cult movies. Its stylish and colourful comic art layout scenes are truly unique for the period, and represent a nice homage to its comic book roots. These scenes are captured to great effect in a series of eight British front of house lobby cards with Fonda featured in all, including the iconic and super sexy ray-gun in hand pose. Originally flat-unfolded (as issued) this beautiful complete set of all eight cards display to excellent effect with only minimal handling wear, vibrant, unfaded colours and an incredible selection of key scenes. A truly exceptional complete set of all eight US lobby cards for the 1974 James Bond film “The Man With The Golden Gun”, produced for United Artists under the classic stewardship of Albert R. Broccoli and Harry Saltzman and director Guy Hamilton. Ian Fleming’s spy novel received the usual terrific treatment with the help of two beautiful Bond Girls, Britt Ekland and Maud Adams, and an incredibly dangerous villain, Scaramanga portrayed by Hammer Films “Dracula” star Christopher Lee. He is accompanied by one of the best Bond henchmen, diminutive Nick Nack as played by French actor Herve Villechaize. Stunning Far East location work in this effort includes Kowloon, Hong Kong, Macau, Thailand and throw in a bit of martial arts (popular due to the huge success of “Enter The Dragon”) then you have not just your typical action-packed Bond spectacle but also an incredible series of Bond images. Originally flat and unfolded (as issued) these lobby cards display and present to superb effect. No pinholes, tears, rips or paper loss, just the very minimal of handling wear, this beautiful set represents a fantastic item of highly desirable 007 movie memorabilia.
Trivia: Travelling to Los Angeles for the Johnny Carson show to promote the film, Sir Christopher Lee had his golden gun confiscated by U.S. Customs.

This is THE teenage angst vampire movie with this investment grade set showcasing the teen vampires in all their undead glory…“Something I never could stomach about Santa Carla, all the damn vampires!”
Trivia: In the cave of the Lost Boys, you can see a poster of Jim Morrison, who recorded the original version of “People are Strange” with The Doors. Also, when Star and Laddie are being carried into Sam’s room, you can see a poster of Echo & The Bunnymen, who recorded the version used in the movie.

An excellent set with a great selection of character and memorable scene cards…Cherry Darling (Rose McGowan) does tend to steal the show in her featured cards. All 6 present flawlessly (probably unused); the sratchy, faded and worn look is by design rather than wear. Included is the original Studio issued Planete Terreur liveried envelope…Fantastic value as a set…Very scarce extremely collectable & super cool !

“Reservoir Dogs” has become a classic of independent film making and a cult classic being named “Greatest Independent Film of all Time” by the highly respected film magazine, Empire. This Japanese B2 combines the ‘Let’s go to work’ imagery and the highly sought after Marc Zaref artwork from the Cannes Film Festival one-sheet. From first year of release in Japan, 1993 this rolled (as issued) example displays and presents to excellent effect in original & unrestored condition. Trivia: In the commentary track on the True Romance DVD, Quentin Tarantino says that Tony Scott read both the “True Romance” and “Reservoir Dogs” scripts, and told Tarantino he wanted to direct “Reservoir Dogs”. Tarantino told him he could have “True Romance”, but that he himself was going to direct “Reservoir Dogs”.
