An outstanding alternative movie poster by the maestro of British horror art, Graham Humphreys for John Carpenter’s horror, sci-fi classic “The Thing”. This superb limited edition example is incredibly rare in any edition and to offer an Artist Proof example (this is hand-numbered #10/10) is indeed a bonus. Antarctic Alien terror never looked better than this, thanks to Humphreys’ stunning imagery, MacReady (Kurt Russell) and the Thing illustrations are perfectly realised, with beautiful colour tones. Released in 2023 as an exclusive Private Commission, this immediately sold out when launched. Originally rolled, flat-unfolded (as issued) the example offered displays to exceptional effect and represents a truly outstanding and extremely desirable item of collectable movie memorabilia with a ‘modern’ twist…“Did you notice anything strange about the dog that arrived yesterday? Anything at all?”
Trivia: Unused music composed for this film was later used by Ennio Morricone in Quentin Tarantino‘s The Hateful Eight (2015). Ironically, Morricone’s Thing score was nominated for a Razzie for worst score, while his score for Hateful Eight won him an Oscar.

“He was Tony Montana. The world will remember him by another name…SCARFACE”
One of the greatest and most influential gangster movies of all time and this 2022 limited edition art print by Matt Ferguson and Florey is one of the best alternative movie posters produced for Brian De Palma’s “Scarface”. Hand-signed by both artists this artist proof edition released by Vice Press features a key scene from the movie as Tony Montana sits brooding in his darkened study awaiting the violent and bloody onslaught he knows is coming with the rug cleverly illustrated to resemble a river of blood. A fantastic example of highly desirable movie memorabilia, that’s very cool and looks incredible.
Trivia: The international corporation set up by Saddam Hussein to launder money from his various enterprises was called Montana Management after the Scarface (1983) main character.

An outstanding original 1982 black & white press publicity still for John Carpenter’s horror, sci-fi classic “The Thing”. This superb example features Kurt Russell’s character MacReady as he discovers the macabre frozen remains of a member of the Norwegian expedition – Alien terror never looked better than this. This original black & white publicity still is flat and unfolded (as issued), in exceptional condition, presented in a custom made black frame finished with UV plexiglass. A movie that is highly regarded as a true classic of the genre and a hugely collectable piece of horror, sci-fi film memorabilia…“Did you notice anything strange about the dog that arrived yesterday? The late 1970’s is generally regarded as a ‘golden’ age for explosive action movies at the cinema and in 1978 three of the greatest, hard drinking actors of their generation were signed up to star in Andrew V.McLaglen’s British actioner “The Wild Geese”. Released at a time to be considered politically incorrect it never achieved the success or praise it richly deserved but has since gone on to be a firm favourite with fans of gritty action genre films. The artwork of the original 1978 movie poster has been adapted here to complement the 2025 4K Remastered release and once again offers some exceptional character driven artwork by Arnaldo Putzu of Roger Moore, Richard Harris, Hardy Kruger and Richard Burton against an eye catching golden backdrop that really accentuates Putzu’s imagery. Originally rolled (as issued) with minimal handling wear this beautiful film poster represents a truly outstanding example of rare and collectable original movie memorabilia from one of the best British action films of the late 70’s. These posters are unique to the UK and extremely scarce and used only to promote the very limited cinema screenings.
Trivia: Sir Roger Moore requested to have fewer lines in his scenes with Sir Richard Burton and Richard Harris. This kind of request was almost unheard of from a major star. His reasoning was, “You don’t seriously expect me to act against these guys?”
