    Hearts of Fire

    £75.00

Mick Jagger was the first choice for the male lead, but turned it down before Bob Dylan got cast.”

Designed by the creative arts agency Feref Associates this colourful and energetic UK quad film poster is a fitting tribute to the over the top 80’s. Like many of this type of ‘art-house’ film the cinematic release was strictly limited, making any paper from the original release extremely scarce and very sought after by memorabilia and Dylan fans with the British UK quad design being particularly desirable. This original 1987 film poster with its stylised artwork and ‘in your face colours’ was originally folded (as issued) and remains in excellent unrestored condition. It displays and presents near flawlessly with amazing rich colour tones and represents a fine example of original and collectable movie and rock ‘n’ roll memorabilia.

  • Jimi Hendrix at Woodstock Movie Poster

    Jimi Hendrix at Woodstock

    £275.00

“This is ROCK history.  A great documentary with excellent unadulterated sound.”

UK Quad poster for the 1993 documentary “Jimi Hendrix At Woodstock” by Chris Hegedus and Erez Laufer. Hendrix performed at the legendary Woodstock festival on 18th August 1969. In one of the longest sets he ever played, Hendrix produced a solo version of the “Star Spangled Banner”. This recording has come to epitomise the carefree boundary pushing tenor of the late 1960’s music scene.  A fantastic piece of very desirable and collectable music/ movie / cultural  memorabilia from one of the greatest and most influential rock guitarist the music world has ever seen..

Trivia: The world’s highest-paid performer, Hendrix headlined the Woodstock Festival in 1969 and the Isle of Wight Festival in 1970.

    The Ecstasy of Wilko Johnson

    £75.00

The Independent said…There is something comical but uplifting in the baffled ecstasy he feels in still being alive

Quite honestly some of the finest poster artwork I have seen on a ‘modern’ poster. In these days of digital design it’s a pleasure to see and handle such a beautiful item. Designed by Jonny Halifax for Julien Temple’s film ‘The Ecstasy Of Wilko Johnson’, and winner of the SXSW 2015 Excellence in Poster Design Special Jury Recognition Award this is a special and very rare film poster. After the film’s cinematic premiere held in aid of the Teenage Cancer Trust in London at the Picturehouse on Shaftesbury Avenue on 17th July 2015 it was only screened in a very limited number of select ‘art-house’ cinemas making any paper from the release exceptionally scarce and sought after with the artist himself releasing limited edition prints of the artwork which immediately sold out and have become collectors items in their own right. The poster offered here is a genuine UK quad film poster from the initial 2015 release, not a copy. Printed on heavy stock paper with a four colour silk screen print finish this originally rolled example displays superbly…An incredibly rare and collectable piece of music/film memorabilia.
