  • Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 Movie Poster

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2

    £125.00

“You only get one chance to save the galaxy twice.”

“Guardians of the Galaxy”… A bizarre assembly of misfits and losers which includes a gun-wielding genetically altered raccoon and a fighting tree creature whose could only speak a single phrase…“I am Groot”. Marvel was taking a chance, but needn’t have worried…Guardians was critical and commercial juggernaut which redefined the super hero genre and direction Marvel was to take. A sequel was obvious & in 2017 “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2” was released. Design agency LA have created a stunning all-action, epic poster for the ‘Final Release’ 2017 British UK quad film poster offered here that certainly wins the most colourful poster award featuring an explosion of bright colours and frenetic energy, it is an incredible kinetic looking image. Originally rolled (as issued) this looks and displays to excellent effect, absolutely stunning; the deep red / blue/purple colour range is superb. Guaranteed original this represents a scarce item of modern original collectable movie memorabilia from a truly exciting and cool film franchise. Fantastic to display as is, but if you own a lightbox this is a poster you want to put in it – super stunning when backlit.

Trivia: The sensor that Peter Quill (Chris Pratt) looks at when detecting the extra-dimensional creature during the opening of the movie is a modified 1977 Mattel handheld “Electronic Football” video game. Selling over one million units, this was one of the hottest items of Christmas 1977. The beep at the beginning is the “touchdown” sound, whilst the other beeps are the sound of the ball moving down the field.

  • James Bond Exhibition held at the Roemer - Und Pelizaeus - Museum, Hildesheim Germany. "Agents, Villains and The Babes" by Robert McGinnis

James Bond German Exhibition Poster – Agents, Villains and The Babes

    £195.00

    “Agents, Villains and The Babes”

Commissioned in 1998 as one of a series of poster designs intended to promote the James Bond Exhibition held at the Roemer – Und Pelizaeus – Museum, Hildesheim Germany. Titled “Agents, Villains and The Babes” the stunning 007 artwork by regular Bond poster artist Robert McGinnis, features a highly detailed all-action montage from Bond’s previous adventures. However the border artwork is made up of beautiful, largely naked or scantily clad women which after consultation with the Museum Board was considered too risqué to use in publicising the Exhibition so only a small number of the initial print run were all that was printed. The example offered here is from this first print run and should not be confused with the later Limited Edition lithograph issued by McGinnis himself which has the censored artwork which was also used for the cover of the Sunday Times November 7th 1999 edition (photo for reference). Originally flat and unfolded (as issued) this amazing example displays and presents to excellent effect. Guaranteed original this represents a highly desirable piece of original James Bond memorabilia with impressive unmistakably Robert McGinnis 007 artwork.

James Bond: No Time To Die

    £195.00

“James, you gave up everything for her. When her secret finds its way out, it’ll be the death of you.”

After an extremely successful advertising campaign on “SKYFALL” & “SPECTRE” Empire Design have been retained by EON for the latest Bond spectacular “No Time To Die” & it’s fair to say they have hit the target again. This original “Coming Soon” Advance country of origin British UK quad for Cary Joji Fukunaga‘s Bond film has a real 007 feel to it, with Bond (Daniel Craig) and Madeleine Swann (Lea Seydoux) presented in black and white close up behind the bullet ridden glass of the Aston Martin DB5. These “Coming Soon” advance posters are much scarcer than the first ‘April’ advance posters and printed in far lower numbers due to the uncertainty of the release due to Covid 19. These were officially released then within days the movie was postponed until November 2020 (now April 2021). Extremely sought after and collectable, not only because they look fantastic with a design that’s a real difference from the normal Daniel Craig Bond posters, but were printed in such low numbers. Originally rolled (as issued) this  stunning example displays and presents to excellent effect with only the minimal of handling wear. Guaranteed original this represents a highly desirable piece of James Bond movie memorabilia for what is reported to be Craig’s last appearance as the spy with a ‘Licence to Kill’.
