    Black Panther

    £95.00

“I have seen gods fly. I have seen men build weapons that I couldn’t even imagine. I have seen aliens drop from the sky. But I have never seen anything like this.”

‘Cast Style’ one-sheet movie poster for Ryan Coogler’s game-changing super hero blockbuster “Black Panther”. An eye catching design by Art Machine which has the cast centre stage against a backdrop of incredible looking flying machines and the futuristic architecture of the hidden city of Wakanda. Originally rolled (as issued) this looks stunning and displays to excellent and impressive effect. If first appearances in movies follows the same trend as the comics then with Chadwick Boseman’s Black Panther (appearing in his own standalone title), Shuri, Killmonger, Nakia, Okoye, Everett Ross and the introduction of Wakanda, this entry into the Marvel Cinematic Universe is a must have collectable item that represents a fine piece of ‘modern’ super-hero movie memorabilia.

Trivia: Black Panther is the first movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe to have its opening weekend domestic box office surpass its production cost. It cost $200 million to make, and its Thursday night, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday opening weekend domestic box office was $202 million.

    The Prestige

    £125.00

    “Are You Watching Closely?”

Scarce, original one-sheet for Christopher Nolan’s 2006 real magic drama “The Prestige”. With a distinctive design by Crew Creative Advertising the two main characters Alfred Borden (Christian Bale) and Robert Angier (Hugh Jackman) are featured offset against a spiral style background by Akisyoshi Kitaoka.  It’s an incredible optical illusion design that actually appears to move – it really is quite striking. Originally rolled (as issued) this displays superbly and represents an exceptional piece of collectable original film memorabilia. Perhaps over-looked by Nolan’s other masterpieces he has made many great films – and this one is most definitely one of them!

Trivia:The word “prestige” originally meant a trick, from the Latin “praestigium”, meaning “illusion”.
