There is no doubting the cinematic and cultural influence and impact of Quentin Tarantino with his ninth feature “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” his most anticipated as he presents his own unique take on the end of ‘Hollywood’s Golden Age’ as the notorious Manson Family murders spelt the end of the hippie era of ‘Peace & Love’. With incredibly high production values and unique design dynamics (QT personally supervises the selection process) it is difficult to imagine a Tarantino movie where any of the posters and merchandising produced isn’t so hugely collectable and sought after. The 2019 country of origin ‘Coming Soon’ US / International Style B one sheet offered here is no exception. Designed by creative arts agency WORKS ADV and intended to complement the Style A design which features Brad Pitt & Leonardo DiCaprio this is truly a striking poster featuring Margot Robbie who plays the ‘doomed’ Sharon Tate in the Film outside the famous Westwood Village Theatre in Los Angeles. Originally rolled (as issued) this totally unrestored example presents and displays to excellent effect without a blemish of note and represents a hugely collectable and totally cool piece of movie memorabilia from a truly iconic movie maker.
Trivia: Originally skeptical of the project, Sharon Tate’s sister Debra Tate gave the film and Margot’s portrayal of Sharon her blessing after Debra was embraced by Tarantino himself and became aware of how her sister would be represented within the film. Debra referred to Margot as a “dedicated craftsman,” and praised the actress’s research of Sharon prior to meeting with her.

“He was Tony Montana. The world will remember him by another name…SCARFACE”
One of the greatest and most influential gangster movies of all time and this 2022 limited edition art print by Matt Ferguson and Florey is one of the best alternative movie posters produced for Brian De Palma’s “Scarface”. Hand-signed by both artists this artist proof edition released by Vice Press features a key scene from the movie as Tony Montana sits brooding in his darkened study awaiting the violent and bloody onslaught he knows is coming with the rug cleverly illustrated to resemble a river of blood. A fantastic example of highly desirable movie memorabilia, that’s very cool and looks incredible.
Trivia: The international corporation set up by Saddam Hussein to launder money from his various enterprises was called Montana Management after the Scarface (1983) main character.

Francis Ford Coppola’s multi Oscar winning masterpiece “The Godfather” is THE GREATEST FILM EVER MADE. Re-released in 2022 for its 5oth Anniversary, renowned artist Paul Shipper was commissioned to create a new poster for the event. Shipper’s artwork is superb with an incredible cast montage poster, with as you would expect Brando & Pacino taking centre stage. This British one-sheet displays to excellent effect and is an outstanding movie poster for a film, that is a phenomenon. An exquisite Mafia epic with outstanding performances, Coppola got everything right, creating a cinematic event with an immeasurable influence on everyday culture and life.
Trivia: The smack that Vito gives Johnny Fontane was not in the script. Marlon Brando improvised the smack and Al Martino‘s confused reaction was real. According to James Caan, “Martino didn’t know whether to laugh or cry.”
…more detailThis is certainly one of the most compelling and despite its three hour plus runtime, most watchable films Martin Scorsese has directed. It is an epic motion picture that will stand the test of time for years and years to come. The ‘cast’ style UK quad film poster by Concept Arts that accompanied this 2019 release of “The Irishman” was equally as striking as it features three of the greatest actors of any generation – Robert De Niro, Al Pacino & Joe Pesci. The originally rolled (as issued), unrestored example offered here has minimal handling and displays & presents to excellent effect with dark unfaded background and outstanding character imagery. Very scarce with a incredibly low print run, as it was essentially a Netflix streaming service movie which received a limited cinematic release so it would qualify as a contender for Academy Award recognition and was only shown in a handful of independent cinemas with no general release. A must have title for the serious collector or fan.
Trivia: “I heard you paint houses” were the first words Jimmy Hoffa ever spoke to Frank “The Irishman” Sheeran. On The Tonight Show, Robert De Niro remarked that the term, along with “I also do my own carpentry work,” refer to both the hit and the clean-up.
