  • Return to Salem's Lot Movie Poster

    Return to Salem’s Lot

    £95.00

A truly influential horror classic…Tobe Hooper’s adaption of the Stephen King vampire novel “Salem’s Lot” was crying out for a sequel, sadly Larry Cohen’s 1987 offering “A Return to Salem’s Lot” isn’t a patch on the original. Yes, the movie had a brief cinematic release of about a week before hitting the video stores. What it does have going for it is an incredible (if slightly mis-leading) horror poster to promote it. Adapting the unmistakable lettering from ‘Salem’s Lot’ with an image of the main vampire antagonist, Kurt Barlow (he doesn’t feature in the sequel). This original 1987 British video film features great horror imagery featuring  Barlow towering over the town of Jerusalem’s Lot. If you are a fan of the King novel and the horror genre this is an extremely desirable and very rare poster. In excellent unrestored condition this rolled (as issued) example presents & displays to superb effect and represents an exciting and scarce item of original horror film movie memorabilia.

Trivia: A rare instance in which a successful TV miniseries was followed up by a theatrically-released sequel.

  • Rise of the Footsoldier Movie Poster

    Rise of the Footsoldier

    £225.00

“It was the end of an era. But before the murders, the torture, the beatings and the ecstacy… before all of that, there was football. You see, football was where all the spite and the hatred first came from. On those terraces… well, it’s where it all began for me.”

Love it or hate it “Rise of the Footsoldier” is a modern classic with a huge cult following. Filmed in 2007 and based on a true story of Essex gangsters – Carlton Leach, Tony Tucker and pat Tate it faithfully recreates the 1990s in all of its glory, portraying a violent crime genre that is still going strong and showing no sign of flagging with four sequels to date. There is so little paper available for this title, making this original UK quad such a great find – it is ultra rare and the first time we have ever offered one for sale. The eye-catching black and white imagery created by Mister S is certainly striking as the cast are featured on the barrel of a shotgun Originally rolled (as issued), the poster displays beautifully and is presented in excellent condition with minimal handling wear and represents an extremely desirable piece of original British cinematic memorabilia.

Trivia: During the films opening scene in the morgue, the answering machine message left on Tony Tucker’s phone was the real life recording that Carlton left him the day after the shooting. This was confirmed by Carlton in an interview with James English.
