A truly influential genre classic…John Landis’ tongue in cheek werewolf horror romp “An American Werewolf in London”. This original 1982 (first year of release in Japan) Japan B2 film poster is stunning; great horror imagery and often referred to as the “monster montage style” featuring all of creatures from the Film and even a bit of saucy Jenny Agutter nudity . Full on and very in your face and not at all understated and restrained as is the US one sheet version. With unique Japan design this is an extremely desirable, very rare poster from a “golden age” of physical movie special effects. In near faultless original, unrestored condition this rolled example presents in investment grade condition and represents an exciting piece of original horror film movie memorabilia…“Be rational, sure. I’m a fucking werewolf, for Christ’s sake!”
Trivia: John Landis wrote the screenplay for this film following an incident while shooting Kelly’s Heroes (1970) (while he was a go-fer) in the countryside of Yugoslavia. While driving along a country road with a colleague, Landis encountered a gypsy funeral. The body was being buried in a massively deep grave, feet first, while wrapped in garlic, so he would not rise from the dead.

It’s not often that a TV show enters the Guinness Book of Records but on November 23 2013 that is exactly what happened as the 50th anniversary of “Dr Who: The Day of the Doctor” was broadcast simultaneously to 94 countries and cinemas around the world. The advertising campaign was one the most extensive ever commissioned by the BBC and the poster that accompanied the extremely limited (one night only) cinema release was truly exceptional. It really is stunning and perfectly suited to the landscape format of the UK quad film poster. Originally rolled this incredibly rare example displays almost perfectly. One of the best looking and most collectable film posters of recent years from a TV series that has become a global favourite. Never commercially available by the BBC these posters are unbelievably scarce…“That’s a time fissure! A tear in the fabric of reality! Anything could happen!”

“His deadly mission: to crack the forbidden island of Han!”
Sorry for the spoiler but the poster imagery featured here is from the climax of Lee’s most successful and well known movie “Enter the Dragon” and showcases an iconic image of martial arts’ greatest star…Bruce Lee. This striking black & white photographic poster (I genuinely don’t think it would have worked as well in colour) was issued by Warner Bros. to record stores to promote the soundtrack album that accompanied the film in 1973. Easily the best example of this poster I have offered for sale. This originally rolled (as issued) example is rarely seen in this high grade unrestored investment condition and represents an extremely scarce and collectable example of original movie related memorabilia & a fitting tribute to the martial arts legend BRUCE LEE.
Trivia: Over 8,000 mirrors were used to set up the “Hall of Mirrors” where the climactic duel takes place.

Trivia: Director Jon Favreau wanted Robert Downey, Jr. because he felt the actor’s past was right for the part. He commented: “The best and worst moments of Robert’s life have been in the public eye. He had to find an inner balance to overcome obstacles that went far beyond his career. That’s Tony Stark. Robert brings a depth that goes beyond a comic book character having trouble in high school, or can’t get the girl.” Favreau also felt Downey could make Stark “a likable asshole,” but also depict an authentic emotional journey once he won over the audience.
