“You’ll Die Laughing !”
A striking movie poster that’s a well fitting design for this dark comedic horror “Stitches”. Designed by creative arts agency OC this British UK quad from 2012 is a great looking poster focuses on Ross Noble in full clown make-up as the dis-figured titular serial killer ‘Stitches’. A very creepy and eye-catching image. Although designed to look like a battered and distressed, it is printed on a heavier stock paper (which enhances and gives the muted colours a real depth) it actually presents near perfectly being originally rolled (as issued) and is genuinely scarce with very limited showings in a small number of ‘art-house’ & ‘specialist’ cinemas. A memorable piece of ‘modern’ horror film memorabilia that is hugely collectable encompassing not just movie fans but also the horror art marketplace and fans of the comedian Ross Noble.
Trivia: The medication that Tommy takes to relieve anxiety is called “Hypnocil”, the same name as the medication used to suppress dreams in the Nightmare on Elm Street series.

An impressive art nouveau style movie poster that’s a fitting tribute to the giallo ‘horror’ classics. Designed by artist and illustrator Gilles Vranckx and commissioned by Anonymes Films especially for the theatrical release of “The Strange Colour of Your Body’s Tears” this award winning one-sheet design is rightly regarded as one of the best looking film posters of 2013. It presents near perfectly being originally rolled (as issued) and is genuinely scarce with very limited showings, primarily in a small number of ‘art-house’ & ‘specialist’ cinemas combined with a low key advertising campaign. A beautiful piece of stunning ‘modern’ film memorabilia that is hugely collectible encompassing not just movie fans but also the horror art and mainstream art marketplace.

Trivia: The film features fragments of Ennio Morricone‘s Erotico Mistico from the film Maddalena (1971) and Peppino De Luca‘s Rito a Los Angeles from the film Dorian Gray (1970). Both songs bear strong resemblance to different parts Iron Butterfly‘s 17-minute classic In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida, from 1968.

After making his buddy cop hit “48 Hours” Walter Hill directed a film that was inspired by the movies he grew up on. It was a wild homage filled with the kinds of images and themes he loved most about those movies such as: “custom cars, kissing in the rain, neon, trains in the night, high-speed pursuit, rumbles, rock stars, motorcycles, jokes in tough situations, leather jackets and questions of honor.” What Hill created was “Streets of Fire” (1984) a 1980’s meets retro 1950’s musical-action-crime-comedy B-movie epic. The film stars Michael Pare as Tom Cody an ex-soldier who returns to his home to rescue his ex-girlfriend, a singer named Ellen Aim (Diane Lane) from the clutches of evil biker gang leader Raven Shaddock (Willem Dafoe). The music (heavily influenced by Meatloaf’s guru Jim Steinman) featured in the film also reflected the odd 1950’s meets the 1980’s backdrop with its diverse rockabilly, doo-wop, blues and New Wave sounds…Even though “Streets of Fire” didn’t do well when it was released, over the years it has developed a cult following because of its unique qualities. The colourful eye catching poster art by Riehm for the film reflects the furiously stylised aesthetic that was used to tell the rock n’ roll fable of love ! Originally rolled (as issued) this beautiful unrestored 1984 US one sheet film poster presents superbly and represents a fine piece of original very collectable movie / music memorabilia…“A Rock ‘n’ Roll Fable !”
Trivia: The car that Cody (Michael Pare) drives in the movie is a 1951 Mercury that was chopped, channelled, nosed, and decked.

An incredible looking movie poster full of glitter and glamour, designed by the creative advertising agency A&E Networks, with colourful imagery perfectly in keeping with the subject matter (the most famous and talked about nightclub of the 1970s and 80s) for Matt Tyrnauer’s “Studio 54”. A cultural and social phenomenon that pretty much affected everyone involved or who frequented the establishment…music, dancing, fashion, attitudes, celebrity and fame. Made with the unique insight of former owner Ian Schrager it’s a fascinating study on why Studio 54 drew many people and celebrities to its unconventional parties and gatherings. Drugs, alcohol and sex of all kinds inhabited the place which made it all the more notorious and controversial. The stunning UK quad that accompanied the 2018 release is presented in high grade rolled (as issued) condition that display and presents to excellent effect. A genuinely scarce and hard to find example of cinema memorabilia that looks amazing.

“Taxi Driver” has become a classic multi award winning pop culture cult phenomenom. This original British UK quad film poster is from the 2016 Park Circus 40th Anniversary release and shows an iconic close up image of Travis Bickle (Robert de Niro), eyes reflected in his rear view mirror. A true classic poster with unique imagery only being used for the Park Circus marketing campaign. Originally rolled (as issued) this beautiful example displays and presents to excellent effect and really is an exceptional item that represents a fine piece of extremely collectable original movie memorabilia from a film that is rightly regarded as one of the finest ever made.
Trivia: The scene where Travis Bickle is talking to himself in the mirror was completely ad-libbed by Robert De Niro. The screenplay details just said, “Travis looks in the mirror.” Martin Scorsese claims that he got the inspiration for the scene from Marlon Brando mouthing words in front of a mirror in Reflections in a Golden Eye.

“He always wanted to be special… but he never expected THIS!”
Original 1985 UK Quad movie poster for the best movie poster Michael J. Fox made, that isn’t “Back to the Future”, Rod Daniel’s teenage angst comedy with a werewolf twist “Teen Wolf”. With artwork by Lucinda Cowell, I personally feel it displays far better in the landscape format of the UK quad than the equivalent one-sheet. Originally rolled (as issued – uncommon with this title) this fantastic looking poster displays to excellent effect with lovely deep, unfaded colours. A great piece of 1980s nostalgia, presented in near perfect condition for one of cinema’s best loved stars.
Trivia: Scott Howard’s (Michael J. Fox‘s) house was located on the same block as 1955 George McFly’s and 1955 Lorraine Baines’ houses from Back to the Future (1985).

“He Said He’d Be Back…and He Certainly is !”
Sci-fi movies can rarely be made in such way that can be looked at as works of art. This is one of the few exceptions. The prediction of judgment day with Linda Hamilton watching a playground full of kids be burnt to the ground is an absolute brilliant portrayal of Armageddon. The theme that men will destroy themselves is also shown throughout the movie also and is even said by The Terminator…“It’s in your nature to destroy yourselves”. This brings the movie to a whole new level of sci-fi and one of the most sought after of titles by collectors of the genre and Schwarzenegger’s vast legion of fans. Offered here is an original 1991 British UK quad film poster for James Cameron’s sci-fi, time travel, shoot ’em up uber-actioner “Terminator 2: Judgement Day”. The horizontal landscape format of the British quad perfectly complements the design by The Cimarron Group with iconic imagery that has become as recognisable as Arnie himself. One of the most influential film of the past thirty five years with ground breaking CGI special effects and spectacular action set pieces. A very hard film poster to find in this excellent unrestored rolled (as issued) condition that represents an impressive item of original cinematic movie memorabilia.
Trivia: This is the only “Terminator” film to win or be nominated for an Oscar and won four out of the six it was nominated for.

There is no doubting the cinematic and cultural influence of Batman and Matt Reeves’ latest offering “The Batman” sees Robert Pattinson don the cowl and it looks as if the Dark Knight franchise is in good hands. All indications point to a stylish new chapter for DC’s iconic comic book hero. Creative arts agency BOND have designed a truly stunning Advance UK quad film poster for the 2022 marketing campaign. This special poster has SEE YOU IN HELL in ‘riddler’ green spot varnish overlay and ? detailing. Originally rolled (as issued), this totally unrestored example presents and displays to excellent effect and represents a hugely collectable and totally cool piece of movie memorabilia for one of popular culture’s most recognised figures.
Trivia: The Batmobile in this film is a customised muscle car. This draws influence from the 1970s “Batman” comics by Neal Adams, where the Batmobile was a fairly normal-looking car that Batman drove for stealth purposes.

A UK quad from the 50th Anniversary re-release of the Fab Four’s wacky, animated classic “Yellow Submarine” in 2018. The movie was digitally restored with the sound remixed and remastered and given a very limited cinema release. Paying homage to the design of the original 1968 UK quad, this modern updating makes great use of the bold and vibrant colours used throughout the movie with classic psychedelic Beatles imagery. Presented in excellent, rolled (as issued) condition this is a fantastic Beatles collectable and an amazing piece of music, film and cultural memorabilia. Included with the poster is a 50th Anniversary liveried “Yellow Submarine”envelope containing an invitation to the premiere screening on July 8th, four exclusive postcards and character stickers.
Trivia: Reportedly one of the favorite movies of HRH Queen Elizabeth II, who owned her own copy of the film.

This original 1972 first release Japanese B2 film poster for Sam Peckinpah’s gritty thriller delivers the three “S’s” – Style, Substance & Steve McQueen and highlights a shotgun wielding McQueen. Printed on a heavier stock paper with a gloss finish this really is a striking and hard to find, Japanese poster. Designed by creative arts agency GHAH Studios the 2020 US one-sheet film poster for Francis Ford Coppola’s “The Godfather (Part III) Coda – The Death of Michael Corleone” is a dramatic, atmospheric poster image featuring the remaining members of the Corleone dynasty – the aged Don Michael Corleone (Al Pacino), Vincent (Adam Garcia) the illegitimate son of Michael’s brother Sonny, Connie (Talia Shire) and Michael’s daughter Mary (Sofia Coppola). With dark, rich colour tones it is a perfect choice of design for Coppola’s final instalment of his hugely influential & Oscar winning trilogy. The double sided US one sheet offered here is presented in excellent unrestored, rolled (as issued) condition). It displays superbly and represents a fine piece of collectable original movie memorabilia for a much admired and hugely respected film franchise.
Trivia: Because of the popularity of the two earlier Godfather movies, Frank Sinatra reversed his anti-Godfather stance and expressed interest in playing Don Altobello. He lost interest because of the size of the paycheck for the role, and it went to Eli Wallach. Coincidentally, Sinatra got his role in From Here to Eternity (1953) when Wallach backed out due to scheduling conflicts with a Broadway play. Legend has it that Sinatra used mob ties to get Wallach’s part, which inspired the Johnny Fontane subplot in The Godfather (1972).
