At 19.00 on Tuesday 13th August 2013 the Victoria & Albert Museum in London hosted simultaneously with 200 specially selected cinemas across the UK a live broadcast of “David Bowie is happening now”. The advertising campaign was very low key and the UK film poster that accompanied the extremely limited (one night only) cinema release is truly scarce with this event British double crown (issued by the V & A) even scarcer. It really is stunning with classic Chris Duffy image of Bowie in Aladdin Sane persona. Originally rolled this incredibly rare example displays to excellent effect with minimal handling wear. These posters, for this unique event are unbelievably hard to come brand represent a fantastic item of David Bowie memorabilia that encompasses his film and music career.
