A beautiful film festival poster from the 1990’s featuring six of the wackiest, poorly made and most bizarre films ever made…“The Bride of the Beast / Night of the Ghouls / Plan 9 From Outer Space / Glen or Glenda / Jail Bait / Bride of the Monster” Each equally ‘bad’ in one way or another yet all had one thing in common, they were by one man; legendary ‘B’ movie making maestro Edward D. Wood Jr. Wood despite a poor reception (and that’s being kind) for his films when originally released during the 50’s & 60’s has gone on to achieve cult status amongst movie fans with paper from any of his films highly sought after and much prized. This collectability has extended to the film festival posters which celebrated his much loved ‘masterpieces’. The original UK quad example offered here is for “Ed Wood Presents The Worst Movies Ever Made” a British festival from the 1990’s and is one of the best looking posters available, featuring classic scenes from six of his movies with images that appear to have hand finished colour touches. A very cool looking, great designed colourful poster that is extremely scarce. Originally rolled (as issued) this near faultless example is a fantastic find and represents a fine and incredibly rare example very collectable original movie memorabilia for one of Hollywood’s greatest character’s.
Trivia: The budget of Tim Burton’s biopic Ed Wood (1994) was “more than one hundred times greater than every Ed Wood budget combined”

Designed by creative arts agency OC this British UK quad from 2012 is a great looking poster focuses on Ross Noble in full clown make-up as the dis-figured titular serial killer ‘Stitches’. A very creepy and eye-catching image. Although designed to look like a battered and distressed, it is printed on a heavier stock paper (which enhances and gives the muted colours a real depth) it actually presents near perfectly being originally rolled (as issued) and is genuinely scarce with very limited showings in a small number of ‘art-house’ & ‘specialist’ cinemas. A memorable piece of ‘modern’ horror film memorabilia that is hugely collectable encompassing not just movie fans but also the horror art marketplace and fans of the comedian Ross Noble.
