A UK quad from the 50th Anniversary re-release of the Fab Four’s wacky, animated classic “Yellow Submarine” in 2018. The movie was digitally restored with the sound remixed and remastered and given a very limited cinema release. Paying homage to the design of the original 1968 UK quad, this modern updating makes great use of the bold and vibrant colours used throughout the movie with classic psychedelic Beatles imagery. Presented in excellent, rolled (as issued) condition this is a fantastic Beatles collectable and an amazing piece of music, film and cultural memorabilia. Included with the poster is a 50th Anniversary liveried “Yellow Submarine”envelope containing an invitation to the premiere screening on July 8th, four exclusive postcards and character stickers.
Trivia: Reportedly one of the favorite movies of HRH Queen Elizabeth II, who owned her own copy of the film.

The most unforgettable ‘one-hour plus’ live-concert that took us back to The Beatles’ era. Peter Jackson used split-screen effectively to capture natural reactions from seemingly random audience. Each members lit up the screen with their own persona.

“The Beatles: Eight Days A Week (The Touring Years)” is an outstanding documentary that features footage of the heady concert years of 1963 to 1966 when the band became a worldwide cultural phenomena topping them all. Furthermore, it also follows how the ‘Fab Four’ began to change and grow while the excitement of ‘Beatlemania’ began to sour their lives into an intolerable slog they needed to escape from. A mesmeric and engrossing rock documentary film for one of the greatest and most influential bands of all time. With a very limited release & showing in only a handful of independent and art-house cinemas the advertising campaign was very low key and the UK film poster that accompanied the extremely limited cinema release is truly scarce. Designed by the Los Angeles based visual communications company Gravillis Inc. it utilises a previously unseen colour candid photograph of the Group. “Till Death Us Do Part” was an early entry which began a trend of British TV sitcoms to make it to the big screen and the magnificent colourful ‘Union Jack” artwork on this original 1968 UK quad film poster provides a great and memorable starting off point. It really is a fantastic looking eye catching poster with a naked Alf (Warren Mitchell aping a famous John Lennon pose of the time) capturing the very essence of the hugely succesful TV series. Originally folded (as issued) this fine example displays and presents very well with only minimal handling & age wear… A huge and loving fanbase exists for this classic British comedy and this original film poster certainly brings back plenty of happy nostalgic memories…British TV comedy at it’s finest and an excellent piece of original collectable patriotic movie memorabilia.

“Artist..Humanitarian..National Threat”….Very rare Award winning original UK Quad film poster for the 2006 John Lennon documentary “The U.S. Vs John Lennon”. Very clever variation on a stars and stripes theme as Lennon’s face is integrated into the American flag. This striking red, white and blue imagery only available on the UK Quad was produced by All City design. This rolled example looks and displays superbly. Because of the very limited cinema release of the movie it is extremely scarce and hard to find…Investment grade quality.
