“Look at us. We are the future. You can’t stop us. Don’t even try.”
1980’s exploitation at its very best…Mark Lester’s 1982 offering “Class of 1984” has gone on to become a true cult classic. Based around the ultra-violent students of Lincoln High it is a time capsule snap shot of a totally different generation; Mad Max meets The Sex Pistols is the tone and look and the poster that accompanied the release echoes this. The original UK quad offered here is from 1982 & looks incredible, an almost flawless example of a very hard to find poster. Originally folded (as issued). The artwork is impressive (The artist is unknown which is a shame because this is a great example from the 80’s). The bright colours of the outrageous costumes are deep and unfaded and background a bright unfaded white. It is a great looking poster perfectly attuned to the feel and look of the movie & the times. Very rare and hard to find in such excellent original unrestored condition. This example displays superbly and represents an extremely collectable piece of original 1980’s cinema memorabilia.
Trivia: Mark L. Lester said the film was inspired by several true stories of school violence he had read about in papers. In particular, was a story of a teacher who brought a gun to class to control his students, the scene ended up in the film.

“She’s evil… and not just high school evil”…Designed by The Refinery Megan Fox (in Sharon Stone Basic Instinct pose) has never looked sexierthan on this original 2009 small French Petite Affiche film poster for Megan Fox’s comedy horror film “Jennifer’s Body”. Extremely rare in this (very easy to display) format. Originally folded (single foldline) this poster, rather like Megan looks superb.

Original 1985 UK Quad movie poster for the best movie poster Michael J. Fox made, that isn’t “Back to the Future”, Rod Daniel’s teenage angst comedy with a werewolf twist “Teen Wolf”. With artwork by Lucinda Cowell, I personally feel it displays far better in the landscape format of the UK quad than the equivalent one-sheet. Originally rolled (as issued – uncommon with this title) this fantastic looking poster displays to excellent effect with lovely deep, unfaded colours. A great piece of 1980s nostalgia, presented in near perfect condition for one of cinema’s best loved stars.
Trivia: Scott Howard’s (Michael J. Fox‘s) house was located on the same block as 1955 George McFly’s and 1955 Lorraine Baines’ houses from Back to the Future (1985).

A great looking ‘cast’ character poster for Robert Rodriguez’ 1998, sci-fi horror hit “The Faculty”. Described as a cross between the Breakfast Club and Invasion of the Body Snatchers it’s up there as one of the best popcorn movies of the genre – superb fun with top notch special effects and a tight script. But then you wouldn’t expect anything else from the director who bought you Planet Terror and From Dusk Till Dawn and the writer of the first two (and best) Scream movies. A nice and very collectable item of original movie memorabilia. Offered rolled (as issued) this original first year of release UK Quad displays and presents to excellent effect with a great creepy cast image perfectly suited the vibe of the movie.
Trivia: At the start of the movie, Coach Willis (Robert Patrick) is seen standing at the end of a long hall, then begins running down the hall in pursuit of Principal Drake (Bebe Neuwirth). The way he runs, and the way the scene is shot (cutting back and forth between Willis running and Drake trying to open the door) mirrors a similar scene in Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991), when the T-1000–also played by Patrick–is chasing the Connors and the T-800 down a long hall while they wait for an elevator to open.
