My personal favourite Indiana Jones movie with this modern, alternative movie poster re-imagining by Alistair Little, arguably superior to some of the official movie posters that accompanied the 1984 release of “Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom”. This hand-numbered artist proof, #7 from a very limited print run of only 10 has also been signed by the artist. Printed on 300 gsm art paper this giclee art print gives the impression of being original painted artwork. The colour palette and print quality is superb; it needs to be seen to fully appreciate just how stunning it really is. Taking centre stage is Harrison Ford as the titular Indiana Jones offset by the menacing Thuggee god Kali. Originally rolled (as issued) this superb example displays to excellent effect. Genuinely scarce it represents a fantastic example of modern cinematic movie memorabilia for an incredibly popular and well loved character.
Trivia: George Lucas, Steven Spielberg, Gloria Katz and Willard Huyck were concerned how to keep the audience interested during the exposition on the Thugee cult. Huyck and Katz proposed a tiger hunt, but Spielberg said “There’s no way I’m going to stay in India long enough to shoot a tiger hunt.” They eventually decided on a dinner scene involving eating bugs, monkey brains, and the like. “Steve and George both still react like children, so their idea was to make it as gross as possible,” says Katz.
What is Giclee ?
Derived from the French term gicler – meaning ‘to squirt or spray’, the term describes a printing process whereby microscopic dots of pigment-based ink are sprayed onto archival-quality paper to ensure the fidelity of a limited edition print to an original artwork.
The richness, accuracy and depth of colour is thanks to the method’s potential to achieve a huge colour gamut (the spectrum of colours distinguishable by the human eye). Unlike the four tones used in lithography, giclées often use five: light cyan, cyan, light magenta, yellow and black.
Fantastic for reproductions which require maximum detail, giclées are most commonly found on watercolour paper or canvas, but can also be created on glass. Different types of paper will produce different effects. Matte paper works well behind glass due its lack of reflectivity, whilst the shine of a glossy finish can give an artwork a brighter appearance.

Being on almost constant release since it premiered in 1981 “Raiders of the Lost Ark” received an updated movie poster for the ‘official’ re-release in 1982. Artistic duties were again assigned to Richard Amsel who produced a more exciting, action packed offering. The overall ancient/papyrus styling remained but now Indiana Jones is featured in trademark bull-whip cracking pose offset against the Ark of the Covenant with the strong supporting cast beautifully rendered around the borders. A better image than the original ? Not really just slightly different and a perfect addition to the canon. This rare classic adventure poster from the ultimate adventure movie presents extremely well and is offered in beautiful rolled, unfolded (as issued) unrestored original condition. A truly fine piece of original country of origin movie memorabilia for a character and franchise that has proved to be one of the best loved and highly successful franchises in film history.

One of the most unabashedly enjoyable cinematic events of all time and that’s perfectly captured here with Drew Struzan’s gorgeous artwork for Steven Spielberg’s 1981 adventure classic “Raiders of the Lost Ark”. Trivia: Darth Vader’s appearance in this film is meticulously patterned after his look in the original Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope (1977). While Vader’s chest plate is uncovered in Star Wars: Episode V – The Empire Strikes Back (1980) and Star Wars: Episode VI – Return of the Jedi (1983), his costume initially had his Sith robes draped over his shield, as well as red lenses in the eye holes of the mask. Considering this film takes place mere days before the original film, the costume designers recreated Vader’s look down to the last detail.

Trivia: The Golden Fertility Idol from the opening scene of Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981) is on a table in Dryden Vos’s meeting room. Harrison Ford, who originally played Han Solo, also played Indiana Jones. Director Ron Howard confirmed this Easter egg on Twitter.

A global phenomenon when originally released in 1977 producing (at the time) a multitude of related merchandise including some exceptional posters one of which was a design by revered fantasy artists Drew Struzan & Charlie White. Struzan is now regarded as THE ‘Star Wars’ movie poster artist with this collaboration with White being his first recognised work for the franchise. Very much a favourite among Star Wars collectors the ‘Circus Style D’ artwork was re-used as a US one sheet in 1992 for the 15th Anniversary re-release when printed and distributed by Kilian Enterprises. The print quality and colour saturation is incredible with Kilian considered the best of the best in respect of the limited edition Anniversary posters produced. Presented here in original unrestored condition this excellent rolled (as issued) example has light handling wear, deep unfaded vibrant colours and some of the finest “Star Wars” artwork EVER !…“Hokey religions and ancient weapons are no match for a good blaster at your side, kid”

Artist Josh Kirby painted a colourful all action sweeping montage exclusively for the 1983 British release of “Return of the Jedi”. These early version UK quad film posters were nearly all produced slightly trimmed (27″ x 40″) almost entirely for advertising use in the London Underground. Kirby’s design was quickly replaced by Kasu Sano’s updated imagery which featured the Ewoks. Presented here in fantastic unrestored condition this beautiful folded (as issued) example looks magnificent; deep unfaded vibrant colours. A rare example of original Star Wars movie memorabilia from what was until “Episode VII – The Force Awakens” released in 2015 was the last true Star Wars movie produced and represents a fantastic example of original Star Wars cinematic movie memorabilia from the defining chapter of the Original Trilogy.
Trivia: After appearing in this movie, Wedge Antilles (Denis Lawson) becomes the only X-wing pilot character (apart from Luke) who survived all three original movies.

The third instalment of George Lucas’ original Star Wars trilogy “Return of the Jedi” contains a number of incredible set pieces right from the opening scene in Bobba Fett’s lair, Han’s rescue by Luke, the reveal of a larger more deadly Death Star, the Ewoks and their home planet – the Forest Moon of Endor. And it the Forest of Endor that acts as the setting to one of the most exciting and adventurous scenes in the movie as Luke and Princess Leia battle the Imperial forces on their speeder bikes. That scene is perfectly captured here by Jason Raish for his 2025 alternative movie poster, as a stormtrooper is chased through the Endor Forest, by Luke on their speeder bikes, blasters blazing. It truly is spectacular. Presented here in original rolled (as issued) condition this fantastic example has deep unfaded vibrant colour tones and displays to excellent effect. With an extremely limited release of only 150 this hand-numbered #21 is a truly scarce poster and highly sought after. Already firmly established as a fans favourite, this impressive art print represents a fine addition for any collector of movie posters or Star Wars fan memorabilia.
Trivia: A reason for filming under the guise of non-descript horror movie title, “Blue Harvest” was partly to put off any snoopers, and also because the production found out that if they mentioned they were working on the next Star Wars movie, suppliers would automatically ramp up their prices, assuming that money was no object for Lucasfilm.
