“Barbarella, an astronaut from the 41st century, sets out to find and stop the evil scientist Durand Durand, whose Positronic Ray threatens to bring evil back into the galaxy.”
In arguably the most famous role of her career, Jane Fonda stars as “Barbarella” in Roger Vadim’s, campy, sci-fi fantasy. Based on the hugely popular French comic strip by Jean-Claude Forest the film is considered one of the 1960s quintessential cult movies. Its stylish and colourful comic art layout scenes are truly unique for the period, and represent a nice homage to its comic book roots. These scenes are captured to great effect in a series of eight British front of house lobby cards with Fonda featured in all, including the iconic and super sexy ray-gun in hand pose. Originally flat-unfolded (as issued) this beautiful complete set of all eight cards display to excellent effect with only minimal handling wear, vibrant, unfaded colours and an incredible selection of key scenes. An impressive set of highly collectable cinematic memorabilia for a much admired sci-fi classic that rarely turns up complete.
Trivia: Jane Fonda is filmed at times, especially during the opening spacesuit striptease sequence, in the famous French director’s “Vadim Tease” directorial style.

“Who seduces an angel? Who strips in space? Who conveys love by hand? Who gives up the pill? Who takes sex to outer space? Who’s the girl of the 21st century? Who nearly dies of pleasure?”
With its stylish and pop art inspired colourful design by Renato Fratini and Robin Ray the British Quad features country unique artwork not seen on any other paper for the title. Originally folded (as issued) this beautiful unrestored example displays to excellent effect with vibrant, unfaded colours that pop from the paper (the photo just doesn’t do the colours justice) and pure bright white background. It would make for a fantastic addition to any collection or as a one-off display piece. One of the best condition examples of this poster I have offered for sale, that represents a highly collectable piece of cinematic memorabilia for a much admired cult, sci-fi classic.
Trivia: Barbarella was the first science fiction hero from comics to be adapted into a feature film, as opposed to a serial. Flash Gordon and Buck Rogers, her male predecessors, had only appeared in serials.

The brochure is particularly striking being finished in black and white with a silver background and pink lettering. Originally flat-unfolded (as issued) this beautiful complete set of all eight cards and extras display to fine effect, vibrant, unfaded colours and an incredible selection of key scenes. An impressive set of highly collectable cinematic memorabilia for a much admired sci-fi classic that rarely turns up as complete as here.

An incredibly rare find, a 2023 Park Circus UK quad film poster for Michael Powell’s disturbing 1960 voyeuristic thriller “Peeping Tom”. One of the most distinctive and best redesigned of any posters from the genre and rightly regarded as a British classic and highly sought after by collectors. “Peeping Tom” was not a great commercial success at the time of its release, and was largely over shadowed by Hitchcock’s “Psycho” and often treated as a film ‘way ahead of its time’ with filmgoers reluctant to see it due to Powell’s controversial content. The originally rolled (as issued), unrestored example offered here has minimal handling and displays & presents to excellent effect with beautiful colour tones and dramatic imagery. Incredibly scarce, as it received a very limited release and was only shown in a handful of ‘Park Circus’ affiliated cinemas. A must have title for the serious collector or fan it represents a fantastic item of good looking collectible movie memorabilia.
Trivia: The critical mauling and public outcry about the film resulted in it being pulled from British cinemas after just five days.
