    An original 1989, first year of release in Czechoslovakia small one sheet film poster for the quintessential classic romance “Dirty Dancing”. This beautiful originally rolled example is pretty much faultless. A classic 80s poster featuring one of the movie’s most memorable and enduring images as Baby (Jennifer Grey) and Johnny (Patrick Swayze) prepare for their iconic dance routine. Particularly scarce and sought after in such high grade condition. Often seen as one the THE defining and most loved movies of the 1980s it represents a fantastic piece of original cinematic movie memorabilia.

    Trivia: In an interview with AFI, Swayze explained why he thought Dirty Dancing endured for so long. “It’s got so much heart, to me,” he said. “It’s not about the sensuality; it’s really about people trying to find themselves, this young dance instructor feeling like he’s nothing but a product, and this young girl trying to find out who she is in a society of restrictions when she has such an amazing take on things.”

A classic 80s poster featuring some amazing colourful, completely different title style artwork by Zdenek Ziegler. Particularly scarce and sought after in such high grade condition with a real, funky eye-catching design. Often seen as one the THE defining and most loved movies of the 1980s it represents a fantastic piece of original cinematic movie memorabilia.

    Trivia: Joe Esposito recorded the vocals to the original version of “Flashdance … What A Feeling.” Producer Don Simpson and Adrian Lyne decided that since the lead character was a female, the song needed to be sung by a female. They hired Irene Cara to perform the song at the last minute. She re-wrote the original lyrics while riding in a car to the recording studio the day she recorded the song, and wound up winning an Oscar for her performance.

A cultural phenomenon that pretty much affected everyone at some point…music, dancing, fashion, attitudes & John Travolta; perfectly cast as the local walking cliche Tony Manero. And it’s Travolta in the iconic white suite that dominates the familiar movie poster imagery. Well, all that’s missing in this outstanding Czech poster by Zdenek Ziegler is the white suit – Travolta is instantly recognisable surrounded by an array of disco lights. Rolled (as issued) it displays and presents in excellent high grade condition and represents a fantastic looking original movie poster with an eye-catching design…“Catch it !”

    Trivia: John Travolta used two suits in the climax of the film; he had to switch suits between takes because one would become heavily soaked with sweat and had to be dried while he was wearing the other one for subsequent takes.
