  “Poltergeist” is a no holds barred, roller coaster ride through the supernatural world and back to ours from the creative minds of Steven Spielberg, Tobe Hooper, Jerry Goldsmith, and Beatrice Straight that brings a modern take to the haunted house genre and it’s effects on a normal suburban family who live there. Offered here is an impressive Australian daybill, from first year of release – 1982 featuring a design unique to the Australian release which showcases Carol ‘They’re here!‘ Anne (Heather O’Rourke) Diane and Steve Freeling (JoBeth Williams and Craig T. Nelson) and the sleepy community built on the Indian burial ground. Suburban terror never looked better than this. Originally tri-folded (as issued) the example offered displays to very good effect and represents an extremely desirable item of collectable horror movie memorabilia.

  Trivia: Both of the terrors that plague Robbie (Oliver Robins) came from Steven Spielberg’s own fears as a child: a fear of clowns and a tree outside his window.
