“The Crow” is an excellent tragic film made even more tragic by the real life tragedies surrounding the film (Brandon Lee’s death during filming, and the fact that the story is a result of James O’Barr’s personal loss of his fiancée). Based on a very dark comic book, the film has the same dark feel and that same dark feel is very much in evidence in this excellent alternative movie poster by Paul Mann. This hand-numbered (#79/150) Saniose variant printing really is superb with Mann perfectly capturing the character – in likeness and tone with the coloured inks, separated by Saniose an incredible finishing touch. This is an impressive screen print that has to be seen in person as the photographs really don’t do it justice. Originally rolled (as issued) this magnificent example represents a hugely collectable item of movie memorabilia from a truly iconic cult movie.
Trivia: Even though the movie, based on the comic, is called ‘The Crow’, none of the birds used in the film were actually crows. All of them were in fact ravens, which are much larger than crows and have a longer, more impressive beak.

Very cool looking, this is a fantastic original poster from Quentin Tarantino’s most celebrated film to date. Trivia: Uma Thurman originally turned down the role of Mia Wallace. Quentin Tarantino was so desperate to have her as Mia, he ended up reading her the script over the phone, finally convincing her to take on the role.

“Get Ready For Rush Hour”
Designed by Dan Chapman this is an original 1994 UK Quad film poster for Jan De Bont’s exceedingly fast paced bomb on a bus actioner “Speed”. A true box-office blockbuster this movie quickly became an action classic spawning a sequal and acting as a template for many films since. In the same way “Die Hard” launched Bruce Willis as a credible action hero the same can be said of “Speed” and Keanu Reeves. This impressive, all-action film poster displays to excellent effect being originally rolled (as issued) with bright, unfaded colours and eye-catching imagery that represents a great piece of original cinematic movie memorabilia from the movie that launched the career of John Wick & Neo.
Trivia: The film was released one week before O.J. Simpson led Los Angeles police on a chase in a white Bronco after he was suspected of murder. After the Bronco chase, many audiences who saw the film in theaters noticed how closely scenes from the film resembled the real-life Bronco chase, including media coverage and aerial shots of Los Angeles freeways.
