This is certainly one of the most intense films Scorsese has directed, and one of the most important of his career. It is an iconic motion picture that will stand the test of time for years and years to come. The movie poster that accompanied the Czech release of Martin Scorsese’s Oscar winning Jake La Motta biopic “Raging Bull” was equally as striking. Czech artist Zdenek Ziegler has impressively adapted the close up image of La Motta (De Niro) from the US & British campaigns and added a ‘devilish’ tone to the design. The originally rolled (as issued), unrestored example offered here has minimal handling and displays & presents to excellent effect with deep unfaded colours. Very rare, as it received a very limited release in Czechoslovakia and was only shown in a handful of ‘art-house’ cinemas. A must have title for the serious collector or fan it represents a fantastic item of good looking collectable movie memorabilia.
Trivia: The reasons why the film was made in black and white were mainly to differentiate it from Rocky (1976), as well as for period authenticity. Another reason was that Martin Scorsesedidn’t want to depict all that blood in a color picture. Also, in the book, Jake LaMotta says “Now, sometimes, at night, when I think back, I feel like I’m looking at an old black and white movie of myself. Why it should be black and white I don’t know, but it is.”

The originally rolled (as issued), unrestored example offered here has minimal handling and displays & presents to excellent effect with beautiful colour tones and dramatic boxing imagery. Incredibly rare, as it received a very limited release and was only shown in a handful of ‘Park Circus’ affiliated cinemas. A must have title for the serious collector or fan it represents a fantastic item of good looking collectible movie memorabilia.
Trivia: In preparation for his role, Robert De Niro went through extensive physical training, then entered in three genuine Brooklyn boxing matches and won two of them.

Printed on heavy stock paper with beautiful painted imagery and deep rich colours this originally rolled (as issued) example makes a fine addition for any collector of movie posters or Star Wars memorabilia…“They’ve encased him in Carbonite. He should be quite well protected. If he survived the freezing process, that is.”
Trivia: Boba Fett is never referred to by name in this movie. He is always referred to as “the bounty hunter” by other characters. However, a deleted scene included in the Blu-ray set shows Leia tending to Luke’s wounds and says “a bounty hunter named Boba Fett” has taken Han Solo.

Beautiful, rolled, unrestored 1980 one sheet style commercial movie poster (officially licensed) for the George Lucas sci fi classic sequel “Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back”. This pure artwork imagery (no title or credits) features Roger Kastel’s ‘Gone With the Wind’ artwork featuring a swooning Princess Leia (Carrie Fisher) about to be kissed by the romantic hero Han Solo (Harrison Ford)…a Scarlett O’Hara and Rhett Butler in space. Poster printer, Gala were one of the official licensees for aftermarket Star Wars posters sold to the general public band have here used an early alternative design to the regular final release cinematic poster which was recalled from use as Billy Dee Williams (Lando Calrissian) was not featured in Kastel’s finished artwork. Being originally rolled (as issued) and totally unrestored this stunning example displays and presents to excellent effect with rich unfaded colour tones. A fans favourite design this impressive item represents a fine addition for any collector of movie posters or Star Wars fan memorabilia.

Lenticular printing is a technology in which lenticular lenses (a technology used for 3D displays) are used to produce printed images with an illusion of depth or the ability to change or move as the image is viewed from different angles. Truly scarce and highly sought after, Ferguson’s imagery is already firmly established as a fans favourite, and this impressive item represents a fine addition for any collector of original movie posters or Star Wars fan memorabilia.

Jackie Chan was a huge star in the far east and Europe and it was the Robert Clouse directed (Clouse had previously directed Bruce Lee in “Enter the Dragon”) martial arts actioner “The Big Brawl” that introduced him to audiences in the USA. Previous kung fu / martial arts movies relied on audience excitement by having a great action poster and that caveat certainly applied to the UK quad design. The artwork used on the British campaign was exclusive to the UK and features incredible fight graphics and fantastic image of the movie’s hero Jerry Kwan (Jackie Chan). The original 1980 UK quad movie poster offered here is from first year of release and displays and presents to excellent effect. Originally folded (as issued) the colours are bright and unfaded and art action packed and exciting. With minimal handling and age wear this beautiful folded unrestored film poster is a fine example of rare and collectable original movie memorabilia.

“Bolt Your Doors. Lock Your Windows. There’s something in The Fog !”
After the huge success of Halloween John Carpenter quickly followed up with the equally creepy horror The Fog. Taking creepy imagery from the movie the US one-sheet features silhouetted zombie pirates in a ‘fog’ filed room. The original movie poster offered here is from first year of release, 1980 and displays to excellent effect. Originally folded (as issued) it is presented in unrestored condition with only minimal handling wear. Great horror imagery on a genuinely rare cult classic from the Carpenter archives that represents extremely desirable and collectable movie memorabilia.
Trivia: Although this was essentially a low budget independent movie, John Carpenter chose to shoot the movie in anamorphic widescreen Panavision. This decision gave the movie a grander feel for the viewer so this didn’t seem like a low budget horror movie.
