BLT Communications LLC pulled out all the stops when they designed the marketing campaign posters for Joss Whedon’s blockbuster “Avengers”. This original 2012 country of origin one-sheet for Marvel’s all action super hero romp is certainly impressive as all the heroes are beautifully realised; Iron Man, Hulk, Thor, Captain America, Hawkeye, Black Widow and Nick Fury stand proud and battle ready in a ravaged New York. Originally rolled (as issued) this looks stunning and displays to excellent and impressive effect. One of the best looking posters to date for any of the prolific Marvel Studios releases with spectacular super-hero imagery that represents a fine piece of collectable modern cinema movie memorabilia. If movie posters follow the trend of the comics, then ‘key’ and first appearances will become equally significant…this features the first appearances of Thanos.
Trivia: Due to this movie’s record-breaking success at the box office, it made Samuel L. Jackson, Robert Downey Jr., and Scarlett Johansson three of the top ten highest grossing actors and actress of all time at second, fifth, and tenth respectively.

The ‘Dolby Cinema’ movie poster offered here is considered the rarest and hardest to find of all the posters produced for Marvel’s 2019 billion dollar blockbuster “Captain Marvel”. Designed by creative arts agency LA with photography by Michael Muller this originally rolled (as issued) example looks stunning and displays to superb effect, perfectly suited to this portrait format. With a retro feel and look, Captain Marvel AKA Carol Danvers (Brie Larson) looks truly heroic and takes centre stage in full costume as she strikes across the sky accompanied by a squadron of F-15 jet fighters. This rolled example is in exceptional condition and displays superbly.

“Ghost in the Shell” sees Scarlett Johansson star as Major Mira Killian, saved from a terrible crash, who is cyber-enhanced to be a perfect soldier in the American 2017 adaption of Shirow Masamune’s cult Japanese manga creation and anime movie. A colourful and action packed cyber-punk offering from director Rupert Sanders that is very much mirrored in the design of the original US one-sheet movie poster by creative arts agency LA offered here. Originally rolled (as issued) this looks and displays to excellent effect; absolutely stunning with an almost neon colour palette. Guaranteed original this represents a scarce item of modern original collectable movie memorabilia from a truly exciting and cool film.
Trivia: The scene at the Yakuza bar where Batou drinks a beer served by a bartender with a mechanized arm is an homage to Ratz the bartender in “Neuromancer” by William Gibson who’s book is considered a heavy influence on cyberpunk.

Designed by BLT Communications LLC this originally rolled (as issued) example looks stunning and displays to superb effect, perfectly suited to the portrait format of the one-sheet. Highly collectable as this was the first direct sequel (to the blockbuster “Iron Man”) and privately funded by Marvel Studios. Without the huge success of this movie and its predecessor there not now be a Marvel Universe in our cinemas…NO Avengers, Captain America, Shield, Hulk, Thor. A hugely influential and important modern film that represents a fantastic item of original movie memorabilia. After an extremely successful advertising campaign on “SKYFALL” & “SPECTRE” Empire Design have been retained by EON for the latest Bond spectacular “No Time To Die” & it’s fair to say they have hit the target again. This original “November” Advance US one sheet for Cary Joji Fukunaga‘s Bond film has a real exciting feel with Bond (Daniel Craig) poised for action. These “November” advance posters are extremely collectable, not only because they look great but are now dated wrongly, with the release being postponed (due to Covid 19) until April 2021. Originally rolled (as issued) this stunning example displays and presents to excellent effect. Guaranteed original this represents a highly desirable piece of James Bond movie memorabilia for what is reported to be Craig’s last appearance as the spy with a ‘Licence to Kill’.
Trivia: First James Bond movie to feature all the characters of Q, Felix Leiter, Miss Moneypenny, and M since Licence to Kill (1989), which is an interval of about thirty-one years.

There is no doubting the cinematic and cultural influence of Batman’s arch nemesis The Joker with this latest offering looking to be the best yet. Joaquin Phoenix stars as Arthur ‘Joker’ Fleck in Todd Phillips’ “Joker”. A production hugely anticipated by the fans as he presents his own unique take on the ‘Clown Prince of Crime’. Creative arts agency BOND have designed a truly stunning film poster for the 2019 US one sheet featuring an scene from the explosive finale. This is the very hard to source IMAX version for this critically acclaimed and commercially record breaking film and destined to become as iconic as Phoenix’s portrayal of DC’s ‘anti-superhero’. Originally rolled (as issued) this totally unrestored example presents and displays to excellent effect without a blemish of note and represents a hugely collectable and totally cool piece of movie memorabilia for one of popular culture’s most recognised villains.
NOTE: The IMAX version is incredibly scarce and printed in much lower numbers than the ‘regular’ designs
Trivia #1: The stairs in the movie are at 1170 Shakespeare Avenue, Bronx, New York with the footage of him dancing down them to the Gary Glitter song ‘Rock and Roll Part 2’ being used for the film, trailer and poster.
Trivia #2: The Joker’s make-up is very similar to John Wayne Gacy‘s, a serial killer who would often entertain children while dressed as Pogo the Clown. This make-up style was shunned by working clowns at the time, as they strictly prohibit “sharp” ends in their make-up, as it scares children.

Originally rolled (as issued) this presents and displays to excellent effect and represents a hugely collectable item of movie memorabilia for one of popular culture’s most recognised anti-hero’s.
