For the third chapter of the original Star Wars trilogy Japan actually produced a number of distinctive posters to accompany the 1983 release of “Star Wars: Episode V – Return of the Jedi”. Two were drawn whilst the others were a a superb series of photo montage posters. Offered here is an incredibly rare horizontal B3 Nakazuri Japanese film poster which features a combination of ‘art’ and photographs. The photographic images show all of the main characters, Death Star, Millennium Falcon, Star Destroyer and the ‘art’ is Tim Reamer’s distinctive ‘light-saber’ imagery. All presented in the uncommon landscape format. Totally original and presented in fantastic unrestored condition this beautiful example looks magnificent; deep unfaded vibrant colours complemented by eye-catching design it represents a fine item of original Star Wars movie memorabilia from what was until recently the “last” true Star Wars movie produced.

“You have that power too Leia. In time you’ll learn to use it as I have. The Force runs strong in my family. My father has it. I have it. And… my sister has it. Yes. It’s you, Leia.”
