Austin Powers in Goldmember

Before it’s release, the film went through a major lawsuit with United Artists (of 007 fame) that almost brought down the film completely. Because the name and subject matter of the film mirrored the 007 franchise so closely all promotional materials had to be recalled until the court hearing was over. The poster listed here is one of those recalled posters with the word “Goldmember” stamped with a gold holographic foil that creates a glittery eye catching effect. This small but significant difference makes this piece a very desirable poster.
