One of the best must hummable theme tunes and a truly apocalyptic finale, it is no surprising that “Ghostbusters” was the biggest film of 1984. A supernatural summer blockbuster with humour, thrills, spills and some of the best special effects money could buy at the time. Ivan Reitman’s masterpiece is a much loved genuine classic. This Advance “Coming to Save the World…Soon !” British UK quad film poster is incredibly scarce, rarely coming to market and features the distinctive ‘stop-ghost’ logo. Originally rolled (as issued) this superb unrestored example displays to near perfect effect with the very minimal age and handling wear; it really is magnificent and the best example of this design we have ever offered for sale. An investment grade, quality item of collectable film movie memorabilia from one the best movies to come out of the 1980’s.
Trivia: Almost none of the scenes were filmed as scripted; most had at least one ad-lib. Most of Bill Murray‘s lines are ad-libs.
