    A cult  film poster for a cult ‘Brit-Flick’ gangster movie…Sacha Bennet’s brutal true-life crime thriller “Bonded By Blood”. The original 2010 UK quad film poster offered here is a ‘cast-style’ offering featuring the main stars. A very collectible example, this originally rolled (as issued) film poster displays beautifully and is presented in excellent condition with just very minor handling wear and represents an extremely desirable piece of original British movie memorabilia.

    Trivia: This is the third telling of the notorious Essex Boys murders that was previous filmed as Essex Boys (2000) and Rise of the Footsoldier (2007).

    A great looking movie poster for the Park Circus (BFI) 30th Anniversary 2006 release of Alan Parker’s 1976 film “Bugsy Malone”. The classic all-singing and dancing gangster movie with an all child cast that is the first and only gangster movie to involve cream filled bullets fired by the legendary “splurge” gun…The artwork from the original 1976 UK quad has been cleverly re-imagined highlighting the two stars; Jodie Foster & Scott Baio whilst retaining a 1930’s theme. Originally rolled (as issued) this excellent unrestored example displays and presents to superb effect and represents a scarce item of collectible memorabilia from one of British cinema’s quirkiest films.

    Trivia: The development of the splurge guns took three months work by special effects boffins at Pinewood Studios. A gunsmith was consulted by fxpert Malcolm King to resolve the very complex ballistic problem of being able to shoot a capsulated custard pie without it first splurging the firer-splurger.

    A documentary film about an exhibition ? Well if the Film is about David Bowie you can understand why. At 19.00 on Tuesday 13th August 2013 the Victoria & Albert Museum in London hosted simultaneously with 200 specially selected cinemas across the UK a live broadcast of “David Bowie is happening now”. The advertising campaign was very low key and the UK film poster that accompanied the extremely limited (one night only) cinema release is truly scarce with this event British double crown (issued by the V & A) even scarcer. It really is stunning with classic Chris Duffy image of Bowie in Aladdin Sane persona. Originally rolled this incredibly rare example displays to excellent effect with minimal handling wear. These posters, for this unique event are unbelievably hard to come brand represent a fantastic item of David Bowie memorabilia that encompasses his film and music career.

    In 1998 a British film was released that launched the modern ‘Brit Gangster’ genre….that film was “Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels” and the relaunched genre is still going strong and showing no sign of flagging. “Dead Man Running” stars two actors who have very much cornered the market in Cockney ‘loveable’ rogues…Danny Dyer & Tamer Hassan. Designed by  the advertising agency Creative Partnership the 2009 UK quad that accompanies the cinema release of “Dead Man Running” is typical of the genre. The originally rolled (as issued) film poster offered here displays beautifully and is presented in excellent condition with just very minor handling wear and represents an extremely desirable piece of original British movie memorabilia.

Peter Cushing plays the big screen Doctor for this special 2022 cinematic re-release which coincided with the remastered 4K release on blu ray. Shown for only a very limited time at cinemas these newly re-imagined posters are extremely hard to find with this example offered in excellent condition. One of the best looking and most collectable British film posters ever produced for a character and TV series that has become a global favourite.

    Trivia: Peter Cushing was offered the role of The Doctor in the official Doctor Who (1963) television series on three occasions, but he declined. He later regretted that decision.

The advertising campaign was one the most extensive ever commissioned by the BBC and the poster that accompanied the extremely limited (one night only) cinema release was truly exceptional. It really is stunning and perfectly suited to the landscape format of the UK quad film poster. Originally rolled this incredibly rare example displays almost perfectly. One of the best looking and most collectable film posters of recent years from a TV series that has become a global favourite.     A movie that has aged very, very well and is considered a classic, “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off” was a so so hit for John Hughes when released in 1986 launching many of it’s cast on the road to Hollywood glory; Matthew Broderick, Charlie Sheen, Jennifer Grey etc. Offered here is an original black & white publicity still by photographer Bonnie Schiffman featuring the three key cast members and friends – Ferris Bueller (Mathew Broderick), Sloane Peterson (Mia Sara) & Cameron Frye (Alan Ruck). Flat and unfolded (as issued) this excellent original 1986 publicity still presents exceptionally well and is presented in a custom made black frame finished with UV plexiglass and represents a very collectable and displayable item of movie memorabilia. “Life moves pretty fast.     A fantastic looking and incredibly rare piece of British cinematic history that perfectly embodied the swinging sixties…a 1968 UK quad film poster for Jack Cardiff’s cult  psychedelic ‘road’  movie “Girl on a Motorcycle”. This is an exceptional Style A example designed by John Armstrong where the content and layout is perfectly suited by the landscape format of a UK quad. With this design more commonly found with an ABC snipe running across the top image area this full bleed, all artwork style is incredibly rare and the first time we have ever offered one for sale. Marianne Faithfull really looks the part, clad in leather catsuit astride her Harley Davidson zipping through the forests of France.  As you would expect from such a high grade example, colours are deep and unfaded complemented by unforgettable and sexy imagery of Faithfull.
