This original 2012 country of origin one-sheet for Marvel’s all action super hero romp is certainly impressive as all the heroes are beautifully realised; Iron Man, Hulk, Thor, Captain America, Hawkeye, Black Widow and Nick Fury stand proud and battle ready in a ravaged New York. Originally rolled (as issued) this looks stunning and displays to excellent and impressive effect. One of the best looking posters to date for any of the prolific Marvel Studios releases with spectacular super-hero imagery that represents a fine piece of collectable modern cinema movie memorabilia. If movie posters follow the trend of the comics, then ‘key’ and first appearances will become equally significant…this features the first appearances of Thanos.

    Trivia: Due to this movie’s record-breaking success at the box office, it made Samuel L. Jackson, Robert Downey Jr., and Scarlett Johansson three of the top ten highest grossing actors and actress of all time at second, fifth, and tenth respectively.

This original 2015 UK quad film poster for Marvel’s all action super hero romp is certainly impressive as all the heroes are beautifully realised on the sweeping landscape format of the British quad; Iron Man, Hulk, Thor, Captain America, Black Widow and Hawkeye are joined by the newcomers Scarlet Witch (Wanda Maximoff), her twin brother Pietro (Quicksilver) and Vision, all ready to battle Ultron’s lethal android army. Originally rolled (as issued) this looks stunning and displays and presents to excellent effect. One of the best looking posters to date for any of the prolific Marvel Studios releases with spectacular detailed imagery and bright colours. A hugely important and collectable piece of movie memorabilia from the Studio that can do no wrong and if first appearances in movies and on movie posters follows the same trend as the comics then with Scarlet Witch, Quicksilver and Vision appearing in this instalment it is a must have item.

    Trivia: Joss Whedon cast Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch because he thought their powers would be cool to use in a film: “Their powers are very visually interesting. One of the problems I had on the first one was everybody basically had punchy powers. Quicksilver’s got super-speed, Scarlet Witch can weave spells, and a little telekinesis, get inside your head. That’s good stuff they can do, that will help keep it fresh.”

Designed by WORKS ADV this pair posters is extremely striking and complement each other perfectly. These advance teaser posters are always sought after and often give an indication of the coming film’s tone; so it looks like we can expect a more darker, grittier tone than the cinematic offerings of rival marvel and more in keeping with the more recent Batman & Superman movies. Anticipation was sky high with many feeling the sugar coated Marvel type super hero film has had its day and the whole genre is looking to re-invent and re-imagine itself…Originally rolled (as issued) these 2016 dated BATMAN & SUPERMAN style advance teasers display and present to excellent effect and represents an extremely collectable piece of super-hero cinematic movie memorabilia.

This promotional poster was issued as a gift to VIP attendees and at early press screenings for Nolan’s incredibly successful sequel to Batman Begins. Depending on the viewing angle, you can see either Batman (Christian Bale), Joker (Heath Ledger) or Two-Face (Aaron Eckhart). Presented in dark blue, grey and black tones this is a great looking piece with the gritty dark colours perfectly suiting the subject matter.  Originally flat (as issued) this stunning film poster presents and displays to excellent effect and represents a truly desirable piece of original Batman movie memorabilia from a trilogy that has become one of the most collectable and popular modern movie franchises.

    Trivia: The Joker’s mask during the initial bank robbery is almost exactly the same as the mask worn by Cesar Romero when hijacking a performance of Pagliacci in the original Batman (1966) television series.

Moody graphics of the titular hero offset against a ‘blood’ red background this is a memorable and eye-catching piece. Presented in unrestored, original rolled (as issued) condition this British UK quad film poster from original year of release 1998 looks and presents to superb effect and represents a fine piece of very collectable movie memorabilia that would appeal to comic and horror fans alike.

    Trivia: The success of this film, especially since it followed the derided Batman & Robin (1997), is often considered the beginning of the rise of the superhero genre to become dominant in mainstream film.

    Trivia: Dolph Lundgren and Arnold Schwarzenegger were up for the role of Captain America. Schwarzenegger’s accent lost him the role with Lundgren busy filming The Punisher(1989), about another Marvel Comics character.
