    A lovely original Japanese B2 film poster for the Robert Zemeckis sci-fi time travel romp sequel as Marty McFly and the Doc go “Back To The Future Part III”. Beautiful Drew Struzan artwork for one of the most recognisable movie poster series’ of the 80’s. Offered here is an original 1989 Japanese B2 film poster for one of the most collectable classic modern movie poster series available. Updating his artwork from the original and Part II (where he added the Doc) this style sees the Doc’s love interest Clara Clayton (Mary Steenburgen) added to the 1885 versions of Marty (Michael J. Fox) and the Doc (Christopher Lloyd) This unrestored example presents and displays to excellent effect being originally rolled (as issued) with minimal handling wear and beautiful deep colours that ‘pop’ from the paper. A rare and extremely desirable piece of original  film memorabilia from one of the most popular and much loved movies ever made. “Our future is whatever you make it. So make it a good one.

    Trivia: Marty uses a “Frisbie’s” pie plate to knock a gun out of Mad Dog’s hand. In 1871, the Frisbie Pie Company started in Connecticut. Their pie pans were thrown on the campus of Yale, and this eventually lead to the invention of Frisbees.

    John Carpenter’s masterpiece of modern horror “Halloween” was the first and by far the best of this enduring film franchise which acted as the definitive slasher flick. The artwork for any of the film poster produced are all extremely collectable and strikingly individual in design; from the ‘Jack O’Lantern’ US one sheet to the UK quad film poster featuring a screaming Jamie Lee Curtis as Michael Myers’ hand appears at the car window; all seen through an icy blue haze. Offered here is one of the best of the more modern alternative movie poster designs by the artist Tyler Stout. Stout’s unique linear style and use of autumnal colour tones makes for a truly distinctive piece. Released in 2021 as a timed limited edition of only 2,170 (this is hand-numbered #1073) it immediately became a huge fan favourite. Originally rolled, flat-unfolded (as issued) the example offered displays to exceptional effect and represents a truly outstanding and extremely desirable item of collectable John Carpenter horror movie memorabilia.

    Trivia: John Carpenter considered the hiring of Jamie Lee Curtis as the ultimate tribute to Sir Alfred Hitchcock who had given her mother, Janet Leigh, legendary status in Psycho (1960) (for the same reason, Dr. Sam Loomis was named after Sam Loomis from Psycho). During the same period, Universal studio producers and director Richard Franklin were trying to enroll Jamie Lee in the new production of Psycho II (1983).

    Original Gramercy Pictures country of origin, one-sheet movie poster for the slapstick Kevin Smith romantic comedy, “Mallrats” starring Shannen Doherty, Jeremy London, Claire Forlani and Jason Lee. All of whom are featured on this 1995 comic book style film poster by Drew Struzan. This is the story of two friends who both lose their girlfriends on the same day and spend the rest of the day hanging out in a local mall with their wacky friends. With a clever design, Struzan does a great job of representing the characters, making them instantly recognisable; the addition of Stan Lee is a nice touch and he looks particularly cool. It displays to excellent effect and is presented in unrestored, rolled (as issued) condition. A rare high grade item of movie memorabilia for a very collectable ‘cult’ comedy film.

    Trivia: Brodie’s comic book collection seen in the movie was director Kevin Smith‘s collection at the time (which has grown considerably since). The collection is what Smith was able to purchase back after selling his original collection to finance production of Clerks (1994).

The British film poster offered here is full UK quad size measuring 30″ x 40″ and is double sided. Guaranteed original and presented here in fantastic unrestored condition this beautiful ROLLED (as issued) example looks fantastic with minimal handling wear; deep unfaded vibrant orange colour tones…A desirable example of original Star Wars movie memorabilia from what has become one of the most collectable and popular modern movie franchises.

    Trivia: The Golden Fertility Idol from the opening scene of Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981) is on a table in Dryden Vos’s meeting room. Harrison Ford, who originally played Han Solo, also played Indiana Jones. Director Ron Howard confirmed this Easter egg on Twitter.

    Original 1982 Japanese B2 movie poster for the best original series Star Trek movie ever “Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan”. Originally rolled (as issued) this fantastic looking poster displays to excellent effect with no fold lines, lovely deep, unfaded colours and fantastic photo-montage imagery featuring all the key cast members, Kirk, Spock and the crew of USS Enterprise never looked better. A fine piece of sci-fi movie memorabilia and one of the best looking and most collectable film posters for the much loved franchise.

    Trivia: The famous “Space, the final frontier” monologue is heard for the first time since Star Trek (1966), now narrated by Leonard Nimoy, however this has been changed slightly. Instead of saying, “…its five-year mission…” and “to seek out new life,” this now says, “her ongoing mission…” and “to seek out new lifeforms”.
