Extremely rare, “The Terminator” original Czech Flyer (horizontal) movie poster from first year of release in Czechoslovakia 1990. Featuring Terminator Arnold Schwarzenegger wielding his laser sighted handgun from the famous ‘Tech Noir’ disco scene. Long before social media, yes there was a time before Facebook, Twitter, Instagram etc or immediate online news updates then the cinema and TV was the go to place to see the Mexico 1970 Football World Cup Tournament “The World at Their Feet”. With a limited number of matches being shown on terrestrial TV (only 3 channels in the UK) it was down to the cinema to show the edited highlights of what has been dubbed ‘the greatest of all the World Cups’. Released in cinemas shortly after the event (with a subtle backstory involving a young fan) it was shown in vibrant glorious colour and not only featured the historic final which Brazil won 4-1 but also match highlights and player and fan interviews from the whole tournament. If you are football fan and love your international tournaments then this is the greatest sports documentary ever made and you will not find a better example than this. Fantastic graphics and clever design and presented in very good condition this originally folded (as issued) unrestored 1970 British UK quad film poster displays and presents to excellent effect and represents a truly scarce and nostalgic piece of cinematic football memorabilia.

John Carpenter’s tale of alien occupation is part horror, part Sci-Fi and part social satire, all viewed through dark sunglasses of Roddy Piper . This original They Live movie poster is probably the scarcest of all the John Carpenter paper from the series of four (Escape From New York, Prince of Darkness, The Fog & They Live) 2018 remastered re-releases and a very rare find in such excellent condition as offered here…The original 2018 Japanese B2 film poster for John Carpenter’s They Live was originally rolled (as issued) & presents in exceptional original unrestored condition with great detailed artwork (unique to the Japanese re-release, as the other posters produced for these releases all feature new re-imaging artwork by Matt Ferguson) & strong vibrant colours. “Do you think I’m pretty ?”
Graphic artist and designer Neil Kellerhouse has created a truly haunting poster for Jonathan Glazer’s 2013 sci-fi indie horror “Under The Skin”. An award winning poster this original British UK quad film poster from first year of release 2013 features a multi-layered shadowy head shot of the Film’s star Scarlett Johannson. The horizontal landscape layout of the British poster perfectly suits Kellerhouse’s impressive design. Already hailed as a modern iconic sci-fi image these posters are incredibly rare and collectible. Printed on heavier than normal paper and originally rolled (as issued) this displays very well with only light handling handling wear. Due to a very limited cinematic release of this ‘art-house’ independent movie these posters are extremely scarce and sought after. This hard to find example represents a great piece of ‘modern’ original movie memorabilia.
Trivia: The men lured into the van by Scarlett Johansson‘s character were not actors. Jonathan Glazer had hidden cameras installed in the van and only informed the men afterwards that they were in a movie.

“Look out for that WILD Mr. Toad !”
Originally released as a mini double feature in 1949 under the title “The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad.” Walt Disney’s classic “Wind in the Willows” won a devoted adoring fan base and often featured as a popular ‘filler’ for other Disney films and in 1955 garnered such a following it earned its own poster. The UK quad for this release is a magical piece of Disney illustration featuring Toad enthusiastically driving his latest automobile closely followed by the local constabulary as the supporting cast; Rat, McBadger, Mole, Cyril Proudbottom look on…A FUN poster and one that is genuinely scarce when compared to the mainstream offerings from the ‘House of Mouse’ . This is a rare opportunity for a collector to obtain one of these scarce standalone film posters. Movie posters don’t really get anymore entertaining or colourful than this; complete set of ALL three ‘only in cinemas’ one-sheet design posters for Patty Jenkins’ DC Extended Universe super heroine sequel “Wonder Woman 1984”. Designed by the WORKS ADV and BOND the three different designs are all equally impressive. The Covid 19 pandemic has wreaked havoc with cinema releases, with this set being all first printings carrying the ‘only in cinemas’ tagline and issued before the December 25th HBO Max screening announcement that the movie would premiere on a TV streaming service simultaneous to a theatrical release. Originally rolled (as issued) they look stunning and displays to superb effect, perfectly suited to this portrait format. Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) takes centre stage in each and is featured in her ‘regular’ costume and her Gold Armour costume first introduced in the comic book series “Kingdom Come” by Alex Ross offset against a vibrant WW84 background of dayglo neon static colours. Very cool and very collectable this set of three cinema posters represent a fantastic item of ‘modern’ super-hero movie memorabilia.
