“The Nightmare Has Already Killed Five People – Now It’s Yours To Live !”
A great looking horror poster from the early 1970’s for Peter Sasdy’s much under rated horror thriller starring Christopher Lee & Peter Cushing. This original Nothing But The Night movie poster is from first year of release, 1972 and is a striking example of horror poster design and artwork by Vic Fair that certainly remains in the memory; a flaming star featuring a hanged man; a creepy clown with fireworks for fingers. Very rare and hard to find in such excellent original unrestored condition; the black background is a deep unfaded black whilst the coloured imagery is bright and truly stands out. This scarce, rolled (as issued) example displays and presents superbly and represents an extremely collectable piece of 1970’s British horror cinema memorabilia.
TRIVIA: This movie was the first and last film produced by a production company called Charlemagne which Christopher Lee and Anthony Nelson-Keys created and attempted to make successful, sadly it didn’t work out.

“VENGEANCE HAS A NAME”
Taken on its own terms, “Punisher: War Zone” is everything it is supposed to be: excessively violent, larger than life, fast paced, and almost always loads of fun. War Zone doesn’t take itself seriously and it doesn’t ask the audience to do so. Firmly established as Marvels darkest and most controversial ‘hero’ it would be fair to say that The Punisher is probably best known and enjoyed by American, European and Far East fanboys than those in Britain and although heavily promoted in said areas the British release was fairly limited, with the movie being shown in only a handful of cinemas. Meaning that the accompanying film poster is genuinely scarce, which is a real shame as both LA & Ignition creative design agencies have collaborated to produce a real stand out poster for the UK quad design. This original 2008 UK quad film poster is very dark & very moody and printed on a heavy stock paper with a matt finish that only enhances the dark shadowy tones further. A real ‘peach’ of a Punisher poster. Originally rolled (as issued) this looks and displays to excellent effect with impressive gritty artwork that represents a fine piece of collectible ‘comic book’ cinema movie memorabilia.
Trivia: After this film, the live action film rights to the Punisher reverted back to Marvel Studios. Ray Stevenson would later appear in another Marvel production, produced by Marvel Studios this time, as Volstagg in the Thor film series.

“Oh Jesus Christ… I need a doctor, man… I can’t take it man, my arm, MY FUCKING ARM!”
Very scarce…An award winning film and an award winning poster campaign. Incredible artwork by NB Studio has produced one of the best looking film posters of recent years; a truly brilliant looking example of modern poster design for Darren Aronofsky’s intense drug addiction drama “Requiem for a Dream”. Aronofsky’s films have a tradition for outstanding poster designs (Black Swan, Pi, The Wrestler) and have become very desirable with a strong, loyal following. This rare original 2000 UK quad film poster is a great example of modern poster design and artwork; memorable imagery and bold use of colour (the blue used in the “eye” is really piercing)…Originally rolled (as issued) this beautiful example displays to excellent effect and represents a fine piece of original collectable film memorabilia.
Trivia: Darren Aronofsky shot the film like a hip-hop montage (a sequence of extremely short shots) to get the sense of overwhelming addiction and loss of control. An average 100-minute film contains 600 to 700 cuts; this one contains over 2,000.

Based upon Rob Bottin’s iconic ‘robo’ suit design Paul Mann produced the perfect alternative movie poster to complement his graphics. A truly striking image for Paul Verhoeven’s ultra violent sci-fi masterpiece “Robocop” that is perfectly suited to the portrait format of this edition. Robocop is offset against a colourful background of supporting characters and action imagery, that are made to stand out when placed in front of the black background. It gives a depth that gives an almost 3D effect to the colour imagery. Printed by Mad Duck in 2022 this limited edition art print is hand-numbered #47 from a print run of 200. This excellent example presents and displays near perfectly and represents a fantastic piece of collectable movie memorabilia from one of the defining movies of the 80’s. The ‘original’ & BEST, “Robocop” is fondly remembered and spawned a popular TV show, two sequels and was recently remade as a ‘big budget’ CGI sci-fi actioner…“I’d buy that for a dollar !”
Trivia: The repeated line “I’d buy that for a dollar!” comes from Cyril M. Kornbluth‘s short story “The Marching Morons”, which presents a similarly cynical view of an over-commercialized future that’s desensitized to violence and war. A radio game show in that short story uses the line “I’d buy that for a quarter.” as its signature phrase.

Award winning film poster design courtesy of BLT Communications. The poster campaign artwork for Martin Scorsese’s 2008 ‘Rolling Stones’ documentary “Shine A Light” is outstanding. Live action black and white imagery of the band is the major feature of great looking poster. An highly entertaining and engrossing music documentary film for one of the greatest and most influential rock bands of all time. Showing in only a handful of independent and art-house cinemas the advertising campaign was very low key and the UK film poster that accompanied the extremely limited cinema release is truly scarce. This originally rolled (as issued) example displays to excellent effect and certainly looks impressive and represents a fantastic item of original collectable music and movie memorabilia.
Trivia: As Keith Richards sings “You Got the Silver”, he wears a trench-coat with a pirate pin on the collar. This is a gift from working on “Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End (2007).”

This British one-sheet film poster for the Marvel Studios release “Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse” features a stunning design by BLT Communications, featuring a suspended, upside down Miles Morales ‘Spider-Man’, off set against a virtual sea of multi-verse spider-incarnations. This original 2023 poster is offered in excellent rolled (as issued) condition. Miles Morales’ Spider-Man etc and the the continued use of alternate realities and multi-verses are very much key in upcoming Marvel projects, making this a must have collectable item. The movie acts as a benchmark for modern animation techniques and that is perfectly demonstrated in this poster design. A superb example of ‘modern’ super-hero movie memorabilia that’s also pretty COOL !
Trivia: At a runtime of 2 hours and 20 minutes (140 min), this is the longest American animated film to date, surpassing the previous record holder, Consuming Spirits (2012) by 4 minutes.

“I think Nick Fury just hijacked our summer vacation.”
An advance ‘Summer 2019’ British UK quad film poster for the Marvel Studios release “Spider-Man: Far From Home”. The distinctive design by BOND sees a close up of Spider-Man’s iconic mask adorned with travel stamps indicating the European cities Spidey and his pals are set to visit, including Berlin, Prague, Venice and the setting of the movie’s action packed finale London; it’s a particularly clever and memorable design. This original 2019 poster is offered in excellent rolled (as issued) condition with the landscape format of the quad the perfect way to showcase the artwork. A marvellous, fun item of alternative movie poster art by Matt Ferguson. This is a sold out limited edition screen print for the Marvel Studios release “Spider-Man: Homecoming” released by Bottleneck Gallery in 2020. This is a hand numbered regular edition of only 300 with this being #241 printed on a heavy matt finish stock paper. Originally flat & unfolded (as issued) this superb example displays to impressive effect (honestly the photo does not do this justice…needs to be seen), perfectly suited to this portrait format. Highly detailed with Iron Man providing a great Marvel ‘Easter Egg’ it features Spider-Man (Tom Holland in his first big screen standalone “Spider-Man” role) in typical ‘wall-crawler pose. An advance ‘July 7’ British UK quad film poster for the Marvel Studios release “Spider-Man: Homecoming” with a design by BOND in collaboration with photographer Michael Muller. A global phenomenon when originally released in 1977 producing (at the time) a multitude of related memorabilia including some exceptional posters one of which was a design by renowned fantasy artists Greg & Tim Hildebrandt. Although more frequently associated with the British UK quad design the Hildebrandt artwork was used in the United States to advertise “Star Wars: A New Hope” under the title “La Guerra de las Galaxias” where this Spanish Language Style A one-sheet was used to promote the film in Spanish speaking countries and audiences within the U.S. Very much a favourite among Star Wars collectors the Hildebrandt artwork is incredibly sought after, with this version printed in much lower numbers than regular 1977 one-sheets with no later printings. Presented here in original unrestored condition this folded (as issued) example has deep unfaded vibrant colours and classic Star Wars artwork …“Hokey religions and ancient weapons are no match for a good blaster at your side, kid”

An officially licensed, sold out “Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope” alternative movie poster released in 2022 through Bottleneck Gallery in conjunction with Acme Archives and a part of Bottleneck Gallery’s 10-Year Anniversary and Party. Titled “Trench Run”, artist Jason Raish created an exciting print featuring the iconic X-Wing fighter battling the equally iconic TIE fighters in the climatic Death Star trench chase sequence. Using to glow in the dark, fluorescent inks, the neon green lasers are particularly striking. This edition is hand-numbered #251/350. Scarce and highly sought after, Raish’s imagery is already firmly established as a fans favourite, and this fantastic, visually exciting art print represents a fine addition for any collector of movie posters or Star Wars fan memorabilia.
Trivia: The word “Jedi” is derived from the Japanese words “Jidai Geki,” which translate as “period adventure drama.” A period adventure drama is a Japanese television soap opera program set in the samurai days. George Lucas mentioned in an interview that he saw a “Jidai Geki” program on television while in Japan a year or so before the movie was made, and he liked the word.
