    Stunning example of perhaps one of the most memorable and recognisable film posters to come out of the 60’s…Dennis Hopper’s cult hugely influential motorbike road movie “Easy Rider”. Fantastic pop art design and use of bold colours which literally do ‘pop’ out from from the paper of this original 1969 Japanese B2 film poster. Subtle imagery of lead character Wyatt (Peter Fonda), almost hidden in the overall design. Originally rolled (as issued) this original unrestored example is a very rare find in this high grade condition and represents a very collectable and desirable example of cinema movie memorabilia for one of the defining cultural movies of the psychedelic 60’s appealing to film and motorcycle collectors…The ultimate ‘road’ movie !

    Trivia: The Captain America jacket worn and designed designed by Peter Fonda was made by “two little old ladies” in Los Angeles. It was later sold at a charity auction.

Originally folded (as issued) this original unrestored Style A US one-sheet movie poster is from 1969 (first year of release) and is a very rare find in this high grade condition and represents a very collectable and desirable example of cinema movie memorabilia for one of the defining cultural movies of the psychedelic 60’s appealing to film and motorcycle collectors…The ultimate ‘road’ movie !

Until they found their next assignment was each other”…Beautiful rolled UK Quad film poster for John Huston’s 1985 romantic gangster based black comedy “Prizzi’s Honour” starring Jack Nicholson & Kathleen Turner as the loved up mob assassins. You would be hard pushed to find a nicer example of this (if you could find one at all). Originally rolled with great artwork and deep unfaded colours this displays superbly, looking absolutely fantastic in this landscape format presented here in investment grade condition.

    A beautiful, complete set of all nine US front of house lobby cards from first year of release, 1980 including the impressive Saul Bass designed title card for Stanley Kubrick’s masterpiece of modern horror  “The Shining”. These full-colour, full bleed (the imagery runs right to the edge with no border) cards comprise a series of incredible character and key scene imagery, that includes two from the iconic ‘Here’s Johnny’ moment with six in total to feature ‘mad’ Jack Nicholson. A rare find as a complete set as most were broken up and the cards sold individually. Totally original and unrestored, the cards are presented in high grade excellent flat, unfolded (as issued) condition that display and present to excellent effect. A genuinely scarce and hard to find example of  horror film cinema memorabilia for one of the most important and influential horror films ever made.All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy…”

    Trivia #1: According to Shelley Duvall, the famous “Here’s Johnny !” scene took three days to film and the use of sixty doors.

    Trivia #2: For the “Here’s Johnny” scene in which Jack breaks down the bathroom door, the props department built a door that could be easily broken. However, Jack Nicholson had worked as a volunteer fire marshal and tore it apart far too easily. The props department were then forced to build a stronger door.
