Issued in 1998 as one of a series of poster designs to promote the James Bond Exhibition held at the Roemer – Und Pelizaeus – Museum, Hildesheim Germany. The striking imagery by Johann Zambryski features an abstract pop-art rendition of Sean Connery and is the rarest of the designs with only 50 being printed and exclusively issued to Museum Staff and never offered for sale to the general public. Originally rolled (as issued) this stunning example displays and presents to excellent effect and was likely unused. At the time of its release in 1979 this “Star Wars” inspired Bond movie (“For Your Eyes Only” was originally slated to be released after “The Spy Who Loved Me”, but the huge success of “Star Wars” called for a rethink) was the largest grossing 007 movie to date. Beautiful detailed Daniel Gouzee artwork was the highlight of the worldwide “Moonraker” campaign and this original 1979 Japanese B2 film poster really does look impressive. The Japanese text certainly adds an air of sophistication and coolness to the design. Featuring a suave Roger Moore in a shiny silver space suit; a rarity on any Bond poster campaign as he was normally illustrated wearing a ‘trademark’ black tuxedo…Presented in a high grade, rolled (as issued) condition this unrestored example displays and presents to excellent effect with colours that are bright and unfaded. Hugely desirable and very collectable, it would be a worthy addition to any collection of James Bond movie memorabilia and is an impressive 007 film poster from the Roger Moore run in the series.
Trivia: Producer Albert R. Broccoli complained that Maurice Binder‘s title sequence cost more than the entire budget of Dr. No (1962).

This original “November” Advance US one sheet for Cary Joji Fukunaga‘s Bond film has a real exciting feel with Bond (Daniel Craig) poised for action. These “November” advance posters are extremely collectable, not only because they look great but are now dated wrongly, with the release being postponed (due to Covid 19) until April 2021. Originally rolled (as issued) this stunning example displays and presents to excellent effect. After an extremely successful advertising campaign on “SKYFALL” & “SPECTRE” Empire Design have been retained by EON for the latest Bond spectacular “No Time To Die” & it’s fair to say they have hit the target again. This original “Coming Soon” Advance country of origin British UK quad for Cary Joji Fukunaga‘s Bond film has a real 007 feel to it, with Bond (Daniel Craig) and Madeleine Swann (Lea Seydoux) presented in black and white close up behind the bullet ridden glass of the Aston Martin DB5. These “Coming Soon” advance posters are much scarcer than the first ‘April’ advance posters and printed in far lower numbers due to the uncertainty of the release due to Covid 19. These were officially released then within days the movie was postponed until November 2020 (now April 2021). Extremely sought after and collectable, not only because they look fantastic with a design that’s a real difference from the normal Daniel Craig Bond posters, but were printed in such low numbers. Originally rolled (as issued) this stunning example displays and presents to excellent effect with only the minimal of handling wear. Guaranteed original this represents a highly desirable piece of James Bond movie memorabilia for what is reported to be Craig’s last appearance as the spy with a ‘Licence to Kill’.

A magnificent alternative movie poster for Lewis Gilbert’s 1977 James Bond extravaganza…“The Spy Who Loved Me”…Cubby Broccoli wanted this to be “BIGGEST Bond of All” and it certainly lived up to the billing, utilising the massive purpose built 007 soundstage at Pinewood Studios, still very much in use today. The action-packed artwork by artist Alfons Kiefer features all the classic imagery you’d expect to see in a Bond film, 007 dressed in a tuxedo, exotic location, gadgets, psychotic villains and beautiful, glamorous women – Barbara Bach who played the Russian super spy Anya Amasova (Agent XXX) and Caroline Munro (the helicopter pilot Naomi). This thirteen-colour screenprint is presented on Fedrigoni Materica Gesso paper and is hand-numbered #34/85. This amazing limited edition art print represents a fine piece of very collectable James Bond movie memorabilia.
Trivia: The closing credits say, “James Bond will return in For Your Eyes Only (1981)” but, because of the successes of Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope (1977) and Close Encounters of the Third Kind (1977), the space set Moonraker (1979) was chosen.

An outstanding alternative movie poster by the maestro of British horror art, Graham Humphreys for John Carpenter’s horror, sci-fi classic “The Thing”. This superb limited edition example is incredibly rare in any edition and to offer an Artist Proof example (this is hand-numbered #10/10) is indeed a bonus. Antarctic Alien terror never looked better than this, thanks to Humphreys’ stunning imagery, MacReady (Kurt Russell) and the Thing illustrations are perfectly realised, with beautiful colour tones. Released in 2023 as an exclusive Private Commission, this immediately sold out when launched. Originally rolled, flat-unfolded (as issued) the example offered displays to exceptional effect and represents a truly outstanding and extremely desirable item of collectable movie memorabilia with a ‘modern’ twist…“Did you notice anything strange about the dog that arrived yesterday? Anything at all?”
Trivia: Unused music composed for this film was later used by Ennio Morricone in Quentin Tarantino‘s The Hateful Eight (2015). Ironically, Morricone’s Thing score was nominated for a Razzie for worst score, while his score for Hateful Eight won him an Oscar.

This is the very first poster released for this critically acclaimed and commercially record breaking film and destined to become as iconic as Phoenix’s portrayal of DC’s ‘anti-superhero’. Originally rolled (as issued) this totally unrestored example presents and displays to excellent effect without a blemish of note and represents a hugely collectable and totally cool piece of movie memorabilia for one of popular culture’s most recognised villains.
Trivia: The Joker’s make-up is very similar to John Wayne Gacy‘s, a serial killer who would often entertain children while dressed as Pogo the Clown. This make-up style was shunned by working clowns at the time, as they strictly prohibit “sharp” ends in their make-up, as it scares children.

“Jurassic Park” was one of the greatest and most enjoyable movies ever to come out of the 1990’s and certainly one of the best ‘pop corn’ films of all-time, so it’s no surprise that that we now reach number six in this hugely popular series. Jeff Goldblum, Sam Neill, Laura Dern from the original trilogy now join the newcomers Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard for “Jurassic World: Dominion”. Graphic design agency Concept Arts have created a truly memorable posterThe image featured here on this Advance US one sheet has the familiar (and now iconic) Jurassic Park logo encased in amber – no doubt a homage to the walking stick adornment used by the Park’s founder John Hammond (Sir Richard Attenborough). Originally rolled (as issued) this totally unrestored example presents and displays to excellent effect with only very minimal handling wear and represents a hugely collectable and totally cool piece of movie memorabilia for one of popular cinema’s most loved and biggest film franchises.

Supreme example of Tom Chantrell’s stunning artwork; an extremely rare original 1978 UK Quad film poster for the David Bowie drama “Just a Gigolo”. This film was perfect for Bowie (you could genuinely believe he was a 1920s pseudo aristocrat) as the extravagantly named Paul Ambrosius von Przygodski. Tom Chantrell’s artwork (unique to the British release) places Bowie centre stage, cleverly portrayed in black and white whilst the supporting cast, including Kim Novak and Marlene Dietrich (her last movie appearance) are featured in full colour. With only minimal handling wear, this originally rolled (as issued), unrestored example displays to beautiful effect. The deep black background contrasted with vibrant colours makes for a truly impressive piece. One of Bowie’s most stylish movie posters and a fantastic piece of highly collectable original movie and music memorabilia and a perfect showcase for Chantrell’s incredible talent at catching an actors likeness.
Trivia: The last on-screen appearance by Marlene Dietrich. German press reports claimed she was paid $250,000 for two days’ work.

“The Bride is back for the final cut…and She will Kill Bill”
The ‘Bride’ dressed as a bride for Quentin Tarantino’s “Kill Bill” sequel, the imaginatively titled “Kill Bill: Volume 2”. Uma Thurman is not your normal bride though as she is expertly wielding a Katana sword. This is a stylish looking 2004 British UK quad film poster with artwork designed by the creative arts agency BLT Communications. Offered in original rolled (as issued) condition, this fine example presents to excellent effect with minimal of handling wear and represents a very cool and eye-catching piece of Quentin Tarantino movie memorabilia.
Trivia: The boots Uma Thurman has on when she is buried alive are the same boots that Michael Madsen used in Reservoir Dogs (1992) when he cut off the police officer’s ear. The same straight razor is also used.
