    A marvellous and fun original British UK quad film poster for the Robert Zemeckis sci-fi time travel romp trilogy as Marty McFly goes “Back To The Future” for ‘FutureDay’ when on 21st October 2015 (the 40th Anniversary of the first film’s release) all three movies were re-released for an extremely limited engagement throughout the UK and Europe (surprisingly there was no US re-release). The distinctive title logo and of the course the time-travelling DeLorean pop with colour and complemented with a series of blue toned photo montages featuring key characters and scenes from the movie and making for a distinctive poster design. This unrestored example presents and displays to excellent effect being originally rolled (as issued) with minimal handling wear and beautiful deep vibrant colours . A rare and extremely desirable piece of original  film memorabilia from one of the most popular and much loved series of movies ever made.“If you’re gonna build a time machine into a car, why not do it with some style ?”

    Trivia: The inspiration for the film largely stems from Bob Gale discovering his father’s high school yearbook and wondering whether he would have been friends with his father as a teenager. Gale also said that if he had the chance to go back in time, he would really go back and see if they would have been friends.

From Sharon Stone’s leg crossing interrogation scene to Michael Douglas’ green cashmere jumper in a disco. This rolled (as issued), UK Quad from 1992 features close-ups of Michael Douglas & Sharon Stone designed by Dan Chapman and Kevin Bachman. It presents to excellent condition and represents  a fantastic piece of high quality cinematic movie memorabilia for a classic crime noir thriller.

    Trivia: After the film’s release, someone called Sharon Stone‘s mother and asked her how she would feel about her daughter’s nudity in the film. Her mother said, “Frankly, I was much more concerned about her playing a sociopathic serial killer, but thank you for calling”.

    Designed by Hive Associates this is a special 3D lenticular poster for Christopher Nolan’s blockbuster superhero movie “Batman: The Dark Knight” and (for the one & only time) Heath Ledger’s show stopping turn as ‘The Joker’. This promotional poster was issued as a gift to VIP attendees and at early press screenings for Nolan’s incredibly successful sequel to Batman Begins. Depending on the viewing angle, you can see either Batman (Christian Bale), Joker (Heath Ledger) or Two-Face (Aaron Eckhart). Presented in dark blue, grey and black tones this is a great looking piece with the gritty dark colours perfectly suiting the subject matter.  Originally flat (as issued) this stunning film poster presents and displays to excellent effect and represents a truly desirable piece of original Batman movie memorabilia from a trilogy that has become one of the most collectable and popular modern movie franchises.

    Trivia: The Joker’s mask during the initial bank robbery is almost exactly the same as the mask worn by Cesar Romero when hijacking a performance of Pagliacci in the original Batman (1966) television series.

The Japanese lettering perfectly suits the imagery, totally enhancing the overall effect. The Japanese paper is slightly thicker than used on US or British examples and this produces a sharper, detailed print of real quality.     An all-action sci-fi vista of a film poster for Glen A. Larson’s ‘epic’ “Battlestar Galactica”. Receiving a full cinematic release it was an edited together version of three TV shows released in the USA largely to cash in, on the still very popular ‘Star Wars’ phenomena. With some colourful, dynamic  sci-fi artwork by Robert Tanenbaum (a homage to Tom Chantrell’s famous art for ‘Star Wars’ perhaps ?) this original 1978 country of origin US one-sheet movie poster is presented in original unrestored, folded (as issued) condition. It displays to impactful effect with light age and handling wear; colours are deep and unfaded with some truly rip roaring laser blasting, robot, space ship adventure imagery. A cool item that represents a fantastic piece of very collectable and desirable original movie memorabilia for a much loved and hugely popular film and TV franchise.

    Trivia: John Dykstra, who worked on Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope (1977) used much of the technology developed for ILM in this movie, including his motion control camera, the so-called “Dykstraflex”.

    A surreal looking Polish One-Sheet for Hal Ashby’s Oscar winning “Being There” (1979) with artwork by Maria ‘Mucha’ Ihnatowicz for the first Polish release in 1982. With bright colours and distinctive painted illustration, it is a perfect complement to what is a excellent (dark) comedy film featuring a standout performance by Peter Sellers. A beautiful, stylish piece of film poster art that is unique to this Polish release. Originally rolled  (as issued) this beautiful unrestored 1979 example displays and presents to excellent effect and represents one of the most collectable Peter Sellers’ film posters available.

    Trivia: It took Peter Sellers nearly nine years to get this movie made by a studio, mainly because by the 1970s Sellers’ career had hit rock bottom and no studio in Hollywood would work with him. After the revival (and success) of the Pink Panther movies, Lorimar Pictures finally greenlit the project.

This original 2021 US / International style one-sheet movie poster for Marvel’s all action super hero romp is certainly impressive with Natasha Romanoff, better known as the deadly ‘Black Widow’ beautifully realised and taking centre stage; standing proud and battle ready. Originally rolled (as issued) this looks stunning and displays and presents to excellent effect. One of the best looking posters to date for any of the prolific Marvel Studios releases with spectacular imagery. A hugely important and collectable piece of movie memorabilia from the Studio that can do no wrong for if first appearances in movies follows the same trend as the comics then with their rumoured appearances in the forthcoming ‘Thunderbolts’ production of Florence Pugh, Taskmaster and Red Guardian appearing in this instalment it is a must have item that represents a fine piece of collectable modern cinema movie memorabilia.

    Trivia: Black Widow’s wrist-mounted tasers, commonly referred to as her Widow bites or gauntlets, for the first time are painted gold. This is an homage to Natasha’s classic Black Widow costume from the comics, which was an all-black suit with a gold ringed belt and gold gauntlets.

Based on the cult comic character created by Gene Colan and Marc Wolfman, Wesley Snipes made the role his own in Stephen Norrington’s 1998 production. Moody graphics of the titular hero offset against a ‘blood’ red background this is a memorable and eye-catching piece. Presented in unrestored, original rolled (as issued) condition this British UK quad film poster from original year of release 1998 looks and presents to superb effect and represents a fine piece of very collectable movie memorabilia that would appeal to comic and horror fans alike.

    Trivia: The success of this film, especially since it followed the derided Batman & Robin (1997), is often considered the beginning of the rise of the superhero genre to become dominant in mainstream film.
