Original Gramercy Pictures country of origin, one-sheet movie poster for the slapstick Kevin Smith romantic comedy, “Mallrats” starring Shannen Doherty, Jeremy London, Claire Forlani and Jason Lee. All of whom are featured on this 1995 comic book style film poster by Drew Struzan. This is the story of two friends who both lose their girlfriends on the same day and spend the rest of the day hanging out in a local mall with their wacky friends. With a clever design, Struzan does a great job of representing the characters, making them instantly recognisable; the addition of Stan Lee is a nice touch and he looks particularly cool. It displays to excellent effect and is presented in unrestored, rolled (as issued) condition. A rare high grade item of movie memorabilia for a very collectable ‘cult’ comedy film.
Trivia: Brodie’s comic book collection seen in the movie was director Kevin Smith‘s collection at the time (which has grown considerably since). The collection is what Smith was able to purchase back after selling his original collection to finance production of Clerks (1994).

This country of origin UK quad film poster is from 40th Anniversary digitally remastered release in 2015 featuring typical cartoonish pythonesque artwork. Immediately recognisable as a ‘Python’ design and hugely sought after by the film’s hardcore and loyal fan base. Originally rolled (as issued) this superb example presents and displays to excellent effect & represents a really fine and affordable item of original British movie memorabilia for the film that “makes Ben Hur look like an epic”.
Trivia: Though he was renowned as the most restrained and unflappable of the Pythons, when Sir Michael Palin was asked to do a seventh take of the scene where he crawls through mud, he had, in his own words, “A jolly good blow-up.” John Cleese and Graham Chapman were so astonished that they gave him a round of applause.

Until they found their next assignment was each other”…Beautiful rolled UK Quad film poster for John Huston’s 1985 romantic gangster based black comedy “Prizzi’s Honour” starring Jack Nicholson & Kathleen Turner as the loved up mob assassins. You would be hard pushed to find a nicer example of this (if you could find one at all). Originally rolled with great artwork and deep unfaded colours this displays superbly, looking absolutely fantastic in this landscape format presented here in investment grade condition.

Steven Shainberg’s multi award winning and controversial film “Secretary” certainly caused a few eyebrows to be raised when released in 2002 dealing with a master/slave relationship of an unlikely couple played by James Spader and Maggie Gyllenhaal. Both of the said stars feature prominently on the original UK quad film poster offered here. Presented in excellent rolled (as issued) condition it appears almost faultless and represents an investment grade example of a very rare, desirable and collectable film movie memorabilia for a much talked talked about film…“Assume the position”

“You’ll Die Laughing !”
A striking movie poster that’s a well fitting design for this dark comedic horror “Stitches”. Designed by creative arts agency OC this British UK quad from 2012 is a great looking poster focuses on Ross Noble in full clown make-up as the dis-figured titular serial killer ‘Stitches’. A very creepy and eye-catching image. Although designed to look like a battered and distressed, it is printed on a heavier stock paper (which enhances and gives the muted colours a real depth) it actually presents near perfectly being originally rolled (as issued) and is genuinely scarce with very limited showings in a small number of ‘art-house’ & ‘specialist’ cinemas. A memorable piece of ‘modern’ horror film memorabilia that is hugely collectable encompassing not just movie fans but also the horror art marketplace and fans of the comedian Ross Noble.
Trivia: The medication that Tommy takes to relieve anxiety is called “Hypnocil”, the same name as the medication used to suppress dreams in the Nightmare on Elm Street series.

Due to the Film’s very low distribution these first Advance teaser “Take the trip this summer” posters are extremely scarce. This rolled original US One sheet appears unused and in exceptional condition. Don’t be confused it has been made to look old; fake lines, creases & crinkles. Alternative movie poster artist Ice Ananphada has created a truly beautiful looking movie poster for Wes Anderson’s best film to date, the multi Oscar winning 2014 production “The Grand Budapest Hotel”. Released in 2015 as a private commission this limited edition print is hand-numbered #61/65. Printed on dur-o-tone butcher white art paper using 15 colour inks (which includes two metallics) and featuring the star-studded cast and titular hotel, Ananphada’s colour palette, line work and detailing is incredible – it looks quite amazing. Originally rolled (as issued) this displays to excellent effect and is a fine example of collectable modern movie memorabilia.
Trivia: Ralph Fiennes partly based his character’s vocal traits on English comic actor Leonard Rossiter.

“The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou” is most certainly an unusual film. It’s something of a collage of colorful imagery, fragmented shots, quirky music, strange characters, bizarre situations, and amusing montages. But if you had seen Wes Anderson’s previous films, you would expect nothing less.“The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou” was a cult success on its release with Anderson’s loyal fanbase hailing another solid cinematic offering. Only having a very limited run and showing in a small number of (largely ‘art-house’ or ‘independent’) cinemas any paper from the Film is scarce and in very short supply, making this originally rolled (as issued) one-sheet from 2004 a really great find. Designed by award winning creative arts agency BLT Communications LLC this looks and displays to excellent effect and represents an extremely hard yo find, modern original collectable movie memorabilia from a truly talented writer / director.
Trivia: The red woolen caps worn by the characters are a reference to Jacques-Yves Cousteau, famed underwater film-maker and co-inventor of the modern aqualung.

“Till Death Us Do Part” was an early entry which began a trend of British TV sitcoms to make it to the big screen and the magnificent colourful ‘Union Jack” artwork on this original 1968 UK quad film poster provides a great and memorable starting off point. It really is a fantastic looking eye catching poster with a naked Alf (Warren Mitchell aping a famous John Lennon pose of the time) capturing the very essence of the hugely succesful TV series. Originally folded (as issued) this fine example displays and presents very well with only minimal handling & age wear… A huge and loving fanbase exists for this classic British comedy and this original film poster certainly brings back plenty of happy nostalgic memories…British TV comedy at it’s finest and an excellent piece of original collectable patriotic movie memorabilia.

Directed by John Landis and starring Eddie Murphy and Dan Ackroyd “Trading Places” is one of the strongest comedies of the 1980’s and stands as some of the best work for the main participants – Eddie Murphy (Billy Ray Valentine), Dan Aykroyd (Louis Winthorpe III) & Jamie Lee Curtis (Ophelia). And all three are featured on this original black & white publicity still. Flat and unfolded (as issued) this excellent original 1983 publicity still presents exceptionally well and is presented in a custom made black frame finished with UV plexiglass and represents very collectable & desirable original film memorabilia from a film lauded as a modern comedy classic.
Trivia: A poster for the fictional film “See You Next Wednesday” is prominently featured in several shots of Ophelia’s apartment. “See You Next Wednesday” is the same fictional film that John Landis references in many of his other films, most notably as a porn film shown in a London cinema in An American Werewolf in London (1981).
