This original 2012 country of origin one-sheet for Marvel’s all action super hero romp is certainly impressive as all the heroes are beautifully realised; Iron Man, Hulk, Thor, Captain America, Hawkeye, Black Widow and Nick Fury stand proud and battle ready in a ravaged New York. Originally rolled (as issued) this looks stunning and displays to excellent and impressive effect. One of the best looking posters to date for any of the prolific Marvel Studios releases with spectacular super-hero imagery that represents a fine piece of collectable modern cinema movie memorabilia. If movie posters follow the trend of the comics, then ‘key’ and first appearances will become equally significant…this features the first appearances of Thanos.

    Trivia: Due to this movie’s record-breaking success at the box office, it made Samuel L. Jackson, Robert Downey Jr., and Scarlett Johansson three of the top ten highest grossing actors and actress of all time at second, fifth, and tenth respectively.

This original 2015 UK quad film poster for Marvel’s all action super hero romp is certainly impressive as all the heroes are beautifully realised on the sweeping landscape format of the British quad; Iron Man, Hulk, Thor, Captain America, Black Widow and Hawkeye are joined by the newcomers Scarlet Witch (Wanda Maximoff), her twin brother Pietro (Quicksilver) and Vision, all ready to battle Ultron’s lethal android army. Originally rolled (as issued) this looks stunning and displays and presents to excellent effect. One of the best looking posters to date for any of the prolific Marvel Studios releases with spectacular detailed imagery and bright colours. A hugely important and collectable piece of movie memorabilia from the Studio that can do no wrong and if first appearances in movies and on movie posters follows the same trend as the comics then with Scarlet Witch, Quicksilver and Vision appearing in this instalment it is a must have item.

    Trivia: Joss Whedon cast Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch because he thought their powers would be cool to use in a film: “Their powers are very visually interesting. One of the problems I had on the first one was everybody basically had punchy powers. Quicksilver’s got super-speed, Scarlet Witch can weave spells, and a little telekinesis, get inside your head. That’s good stuff they can do, that will help keep it fresh.”

Originally rolled (as issued) this looks stunning and displays and presents to excellent effect. One of the best looking posters to date for any of the prolific Marvel Studios releases with spectacular imagery. A hugely important and collectable piece of movie memorabilia from the Studio that can do no wrong for if first appearances in movies follows the same trend as the comics then with their rumoured appearances in the forthcoming ‘Thunderbolts’ production of Florence Pugh, Taskmaster and Red Guardian appearing in this instalment it is a must have item that represents a fine piece of collectable modern cinema movie memorabilia.

    Trivia: Black Widow’s wrist-mounted tasers, commonly referred to as her Widow bites or gauntlets, for the first time are painted gold. This is an homage to Natasha’s classic Black Widow costume from the comics, which was an all-black suit with a gold ringed belt and gold gauntlets.

It also happens to be one of the best and most memorable movie poster images ever ! Designed by The Seiniger Advertising Agency with finished artwork by Roger Kastel the poster has attained cult status. Once you’ve seen the film (& who hasn’t) you see the poster and you just can’t get John Williams’ distinctive soundtrack out of your head. This original UK quad for Steven Spielberg’s 1975 masterpiece “Jaws” is for the September 9th 2022 re-release for IMAX cinema screens and a Real D 3D version. Although retaining the original artwork it has been slightly altered to denote this is, with a shark-bite evident on the ‘A’ of IMAX. Originally rolled (as issued) this displays to excellent effect. Perfect, deep rich colours this is a truly outstanding and extremely rare original film poster that is only available for this very limited cinematic release with the UK quad being the only landcscape format printed. It presents and displays to excellent effect and represents a key item of highly sought after, collectable original movie memorabilia…“You’re gonna need a bigger boat !”

    Trivia: Several decades after the film’s release, Lee Fierro, who played Mrs. Kintner, walked into a seafood restaurant and noticed that the menu had an “Alex Kintner Sandwich.” She commented that she had played his mother so many years ago; the owner of the restaurant ran out to meet her, and he was none other than Jeffrey Voorhees, who had played her son. They had not seen each other since the original movie shoot.

It also happens to be one of the best and most memorable movie poster images ever ! So why reinvent it ? When it comes to amazing alternative movie posters, this hand-numbered (#24/250) limited edition art print by Andrew Swainson is a real eye-catcher. There are a lot of alternative ‘Jaws’ posters on the market with this 2021 offering considered one of the best and most desirable; very clever imagery. Released by Vice Press, this wonderfully subtle design by Swainson is a God’s eye view of Amity Island’s beach moments before the shark takes young Alex Kintner as its second victim. We can just make out the image of a shark in the water with its teeth being integrated into the waves as they break onto the shore. A very limited release. Totally unrestored this originally rolled unfolded (as issued) example displays to exceptional effect.
