  • DRIVE-Movie-Poster

    DRIVE

    £450.00

    “Get in..Get out..Get away.”

Although a relatively recent release any paper for Nicolas Winding Refn’s 2011 violent car-themed actioner “DRIVE” is extremely scarce. His award winning film was complemented with an award winning movie poster created by Empire Design. Although a huge success with audiences and critics alike the movie is considered “art-house” or “independent” and had a very limited cinema release resulting in the scarcity of the poster. Originally rolled (as issued) this looks and displays to excellent effect with minimal handling wear; the colours of the deep blues and blacks are dark and unfaded. An extremely scarce, modern original collectable movie memorabilia from a truly talented director that looks very very cool !

Trivia: In preparation for his role, Ryan Gosling restored the 1973 Chevy Malibu that his character uses in the film.

    £175.00

    “All Heroes Start Somewhere !”

Hall H, Comicon 2012 and Marvel Studios is again breaking box-office records, this time with the super hero blockbuster “The Avengers”. Riding the wave of success sequels to the hugely successful Captain America & Thor movies are announced as the assembled audience goes wild with anticipation…then an audible gasp, as the third film for 2014 is revealed, what ? “Guardians of the Galaxy” ? … A bizarre assembly of misfits and losers which includes a gun-wielding genetically altered raccoon and a fighting tree creature whose could only speak a single phrase…“I am Groot”. An amazing spectrum of purple and blue colours and frantic energy, it is a great looking image. Guaranteed original this represents a scarce item of modern original collectable movie memorabilia from a truly exciting and cool film.

Trivia: According to James Gunn, the film’s soundtrack is composed mainly of 1970s and 1980s songs, as they are part of Quill’s memories of Earth: “The music is one of those touchstones we have to remind us that Quill is a real person from planet Earth who’s just like you and me, except that he’s in this big outer space adventure.”
